A good pub the blue lias is,the wife and I often take the tubby their in the evening and have a drink by the canal listening to all the motorists beeping their horns as they go over the bridge.

Thanks for all replys,still cannot make my mind up with what to do still keep looking at 225's.

I currently run 245's on my 17" wheels on the rear but they are 9" wide and they look spot on not stretched neither baggy at the side walls,how do your tyres look on the rim.

Just waiting to get my centres for my advans back from the powder coaters, then I will be in the market for new tyres.
I was going to buy some 225/45/16 for the rears but don't know how well it would cope with 245/45/16 on a 8" rim

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Buy an internal amplified ariel and set it up in the boot, I brought a cheap ariel and removed it pretty much as soon as I fitted it as it was rubbish.
Spend a bit more and get a reliable one

I made a start on the wheels over the weekend,stripped them down and 160 bolts later they was apart. There was a bit of kerb rash on some wheels so after thinking about how to tackle them i decided on the angle grinder :shock: So of to work i went with a medium sanding wheel attached to the grinder,...
