your not on your own mate, I got stung aswell, bought a turbo off ebay and it was knackered only mine was for just under £500 and funnily enough was from a member from on here.

to be honest i find that the car runs slightly better with a recirc on especially when your back on the gas after a swift gear change.

i had a little race with a 230bhp cupra ibiza and boy was it a close one only just kept him at bay although he was running 23psi with the normal mods and i was only on low boost 8 psi certainly shut him up all he kept onn about was the flames from my exhaust lol

oh trust me from personal experiance you'll notice it, when one of my bearings went i thought the gearbox had fallen out the back and was dragging it down the road it was that loud and i was doing about 80mph

Well ive the problem with my clutch (split pipe) which i should sort out tommorow and ive fit the boost controller but my god damn manifolds starting to crack for the 3rd time in 3 weeks but sod it, I shall hopefully still be there.

jeees it looks like im not the only one i went out for a run in mine last night and my manifold cracked right on the weld where the screamer pipe comes off the manifold,sounds horrible :pale: . it looks like im gonna have to take it off again for the 4th time in 2 weeks i only managed an hours wort...

xxxxxx manifold has cracked again now but in a different place to yesterday the external wastegate bracket has sheered completely of now and im 100% pi$$ed off and gonna sell the car because its one thing after another so b0ll0x to it,so it looks like i wont be coming again.

right im back on took off the manifold and got it welded this afternoon and now its back on and its great so hopefully it will last till sunday
