I done my rod,crank and thrust bearings on sat with the engine out in about 4 hours but i had 2 bearings that had spun and i had to replace 2 of the conrods and the crank .

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 head gasket V's Rev3 head gasket

are there any significant differences between a rev3 gasket and a rev1 as ive put one along side the other and cant see any differences, Ive placed a rev3 gasket on a rev1 block and cant see any but i cant help feeling that there is, anyone had any experience?

the profec b is very easy to use plus there very cheap compared to some,but at the other end of the market theres the HKS ev6 which is in my opinion the b0ll0x and very easy to use and ill probably never buy another boost controller. :thumleft:

your best bet would be to t into the pipe that goes between the map sensor and the inlet manifold, try that and see if that sorts it
