Re: Anybody ever shattered their T-bar glass?

With toughened glass the most vulnerable parts are the edges and corners, mainly the corners so try not hit anything with them

Re: Rev3 Turbo Engine in a Rev1 Turbo Car!

You can just mod it to fit, I think what I did was get the multimeter ot and connected the old rev1 connectors to the rev3 loom which I just so happen to have of you want it.

Re: Rev3 Turbo Engine in a Rev1 Turbo Car!

Your best bet is to get the rev3 chassis loom as you'll need to cut and bridge a few wires on the original rev1 loom as i went down that same road about 4 years ago and found it was best to just change it, The other thing is that the rear light connectors are a little different aswell.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] taking out my intercooler...help please hook bolt knurled

Take the hook off and undo both the bolts holding the pipe so you've got a bit of movement and it will pop out with a bit of wiggling. :thumleft:

Re: [All] [Generic] Do you??

I thought that employers liability insurance only applies if there is more than one person is working on the premises because afterall if he injures himself he cant sue himself :eye:

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Need some confirmation FCD

If you go by what it says in that diagram, you wont go wrong, if it helps the pim wire goes to the pressure/map sensor along with 2 other wires so you could always see what colour it is at the sensor.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 head gasket V's Rev3 head gasket

Thats very strange as the cometic gasket i took off of the rev1 block was almost identical to the rev3 so now im completely lost i couldnt have missed the fact thats there 2 extra holes maybe thats a rev2 gasket at the top and its different to a rev1????????????? Either that or it was a rev3 gasket ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 head gasket V's Rev3 head gasket

dont worry about how thick it is or what its made from all i need to know is if there is a difference in where the water/ oil ways are located on the head gasket itself because i cant see any differences but i have been known to be wrong
