I think that's correct.
I believe the non power folding mirrors are fitted with a three pin plug, the non power folding heated mirrors use a 5 pin plug, and the power folding and heated power folding use a seven pin plug.

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden
Glad you're making progress. Hopefully obtaining a replacement door control module should sort things out. But it's hard to fathom why on earth PG removed it in the first place. It's hardly in the way tucked up there.

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden
OK, if he's not been in the door and the plastic sheet looks undisturbed it's unlikely that those two connectors are the issue. I believe this is the location of the yellow door control module. Steering wheel column on left, my alarm on the right. http://www.mr2.org.uk/images/mr2_door_module_ecu.jpg...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden
Had Gidden been inside the door for some reason. If he had and the master switch isn't working either, it's possible the connectors to the actual mechanism inside the door are loose or weren't plugged back in. http://www.mr2.org.uk/images/mr2_door_loom1.jpg You can see the white and gray connectors ...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden
Assuming the master locking push button on the drivers side window control panel works OK and locks the doors, it sounds like the connection between the locking mechanism and your alarm is unplugged or faulty. I don't have a Toad alarm on my car, but when I recently changed the driver's side loom fo...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Swapping ecus?
That's a shame, provided the damage isn't too serious, you can usually repair an ECU with leaking capacitors. I had a couple suffer with that issue. I also had a rev2 manual NA a few years ago which kept cutting out and there were no signs of damage in the ECU. Unable to get to the bottom of the pro...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Swapping ecus?
I don't think rev1 and rev2 ECUs are interchangeable.
Have you opened up the rev2 ecu to check for leaking capacitors and any damage to the tracks if they have leaked?
It's a pretty common fault.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mr2 rev2 turbo cone filter size ?
In general, I've ordered all sorts of non car stuff from abroad and never had a problem. Germans I've found are particularly easy to deal with and very reliable. I've only bought a couple of things from Negun, but they seem to have a pretty good reputation among Japanese car enthusiasts, and I had n...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mr2 rev2 turbo cone filter size ?
I have an Apexi air filter on my rev 2 turbo, but the one in that ebay listing isn't a direct fit for th rev2 with an AFM. The correct Apexi filter is a code 507-T007 as shown in this Amazon ad: advert These aren't as common and I had to import mine from Nengun: Nengun website which is currently sho...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo hoses
To be honest I didn't buy a kit as such and simply measured up what I was after and talked it through with them on the phone as the range of kits on their website was a bit limited, and in many cases you just need to Know the length and internal diameter and what degree bends will do the job. Their ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo hoses
The hose from the AFM to the turbo will restrict your choice of supplier as most seem to only stock the later rev3+ hoses. I replaced all the others on my rev2 with hoses from sfs who were really helpful. http://www.mr2.org.uk/images/mr2_engine_bay4.jpg But unfortunately they couldn't supply the rev...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] retracting mirrors
Thanks for posting that, Paul! I've stolen it and added it to the library I host here: http://shinny.co.uk/toyota/ A quick examination suggests to me there's a printing error on the diagram because the circuits for the left and right sides are different - pins 4 and 5 on the control relay look like...

Glad it proved to be an easy fix. But I thought I'd post a wiring diagram for folding mirrors here, in case it helps someone else in the future. http://www.mr2.org.uk/images/JDM_Folding_Mirrors.jpg I came across this on a website early this year when I was having problems with converting mine to the...

Re: Crystal Headlight users
I replaced the stock JDM headlights in my turbo with a pair of ebay crystal headlights and Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs in September 2016. I purchased them from the same ebay seller as in your link, but of course there's no guarantee that he's still obtaining them from the same source. But whilst I...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Loose white wire and multiplug in engine bay fuse box.
I wouldn't have thought so, just looks like it's an unused connection from the stock wiring loom which wasn't needed because of the fuel pump upgrade.
If it's all working OK, I'm not sure if it would be wise reconnecting the white wire until you can trace where it's going to.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Loose white wire and multiplug in engine bay fuse box.
For what it's worth my JDM rev 2 turbo has a white wire where you have just the empty connector, but the colours of the other wires looks different. So I guess it all depends on what harness was used during the conversion. http://www.mr2.org.uk/images/mr2_engine_fusebox.jpg It's possible that the sp...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Horn issue
Ok, yes the click seems to suggest the relay is pulling in, but what voltage is being sent to the horn. I'd start by measuring the voltage between relay terminal three and the chassis when you press the horn button. If you have 12v or so then the relay is fine. If the voltage is low it's probably co...
