its not exactly the same shape but I have turned in the past and applied some sealer.
I never saw or had a problem with water ingress but I did have a boot mounted ic which sucked air out through the underside of the car

Hi the doors are only suitable for a car with a roll cage and doors bars fitted, which is what I had. So I think they are really for some one who wants to reduce the weight of their car.
