Re: Rev 3 leather seats
They've been gone a while I'm afraid, was quite hoping they'd die off from this subforum. I'm no longer a premium member so I can't finalize the sale to drop them off either

Re: How hard is it to replace the sills?
Yes.

I used these, although I didn't need the full length so the welders just cut off the section they needed, then had to make up a few bits for the inner sills.

Re: L355CTY - Ever regretted selling a car?
this post is so bitchy .you sold someone a banger and complain when the're trying to make their money back . the car was scrap then and still is .crush it . Except when it was first sold, the issues were actually stated in the original post. The new owner thought they'd make a quick buck apparently...

040 white bonnet
As above, looking for £25 collected
Pictures coming soon, but it looks like a white MR2 bonnet
Mods: realised I posted this in the wrong section, any chance of a move to Bodywork & Wheels?

First of all, pictures:
As you can see, they're not in the greatest condition, but not terrible either. Looking for £60 collected

I've already used a proper carpet cleaner on them, it came up a bit brighter but otherwise looked the same. It's pretty inoffensive in the flesh, so I've just left them for now.

Not had too much time recently, so she's mostly sat there lonely (plus with the snow and cold weather, I haven't really felt like working on the car!) - thought I'd spend at least 20 minutes today though and get the new bonnet fitted: https://i.imgur.com/qBtKR96.jpg Fitment is alright, it could do w...

Re: Tsia's 1995 Rev 3 turbo
Mostly been working on the bodywork (fitting new spats, stonechipping the new sills etc...) and due to some unforseen bolt breakages I'm having to wait for a few tools to arrive to remove the front bumper. Annoyingly, the previous owner has disconnected all the aircon stuff (presumably in the turbo ...

Re: Fit front bumper badge
Can't you use some thin double sided tape, something along the lines of this, and then cut with a fine blade?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-x-8MM-AUTO-ACRYLIC-FOAM-DOUBLE-SIDED-ATTACHMENT-ADHESIVE-TAPE-NUMBER-PLATE/292180967849?epid=560248578&hash=item440757c1a9:g:5d8AAOSwiA9ZZnTs It's probably ...

Suffice to say the car will be quite 'marmite' when it's done - but I've spent the past few years having a universally appealing car (OEM kitted Supra with just a TRD wing) so I felt like it was time to build the MR2 I always wanted

Ehh, I can appreciate a nice stock bodied car, but I find them too boring for me to own - especially as this isn't a daily driver, just a toy

Re: Tsia's 1995 Rev 3 turbo
I've been tempted to get one of those, my only issue is how odd it looks with the pop up covers being body colour still Heh, I intentionally didn't get headlight covers to keep this 'effect' - I really like how that looks. But yeah, you can get carbon headlight covers and have the bonnet area fully...
