Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**

As much as I wanted to keep her it just didn't seem the sensible thing to do.... Selling her will allow me to clear some debts and will also mean that Nic could potentially go part time to look after our little one. So it was painful to see her go given everything I've put into her, but I know it's ...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**

I had very mixed feelings today.... Why? Well EOR has sold. I'm sad that she's gone but equally I haven't been using her recently and I'm pleased that she went to the buyer that she did. Conrad is the new owner, and may well turn up on here (I do hope so as I want to follow EORs progress!) Conrad is...

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

Well I met a cracking bloke called Conrad today who viewed the car.... And after some lengthy conversations ended up buying her. It still feels surreal that she's gone. It is with a heavy heart that I sold her but it's definitely a better move that she is sold than dry stored and unused. Plus I know...

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

It is ashame, but my situation has changed and needs must. I have really enjoyed getting her to this point though and I just hope that someone else can carry on where I leave her... The photos are from all around Bristol, Castle Coombe and Frenchay. I lived in Bromley Heath when I took most of those...

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

You should so fix the electrical problem with it first mate, to anyone potential buyers out there (who haven't followed your build thread) an unidentified problem with a highly modified car just rings alarm bells, especially when you've spent so much on it but are prepared to sell it for so very mu...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)

It's looking really good, there's been some great progress on this. I love this thread :thumleft: What's next for her - intend to attack the paintwork? You'll have to post up and let me know how the commute goes. I'm currently commuting on a motorbike in this weather so Im sure you'll be fine in a s...

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

I completely agree that it would be easier to sell and would command a higher price with the parasitic drain issue rectified. Unfortunately this isn't something that I have any money to rectify. All spending has been fully barred on the car due to the arrival of my son, and now I just need some of t...

Unfortunately so... It is the right time for me to sell up but its been a joy owning her. No doubt I will be back in a Jap car in the future

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

Much interest so far, Karl? There has been a fair amount of interest but it's primarily from tyre kickers to be honest :-k I stuck it on eBay yesterday. In just over 24 hours it's had 730 views and 31 watchers so I'm quite positive about that. I think it's massively cheap for the car that it is but...

Re: Rev5 red stitch gearknob

For probably the better part of £70 difference I would go without the embossing

On a side note - the Celice VVTi ones have the same shape and embossing as the rev5 MR2 ones, and don't carry the same price tag. Maybe buy one of those and have it re-stitched for the red stitching :-k

Re: Rev5 red stitch gearknob

TBH I'd be tempted to get a standard rev4 one and sending it to Rhon to have all the stitching re-done with red. It will look no different and cost a fraction of the price :thumleft:

- Phil aka Magic Beans custom LED heater panel A very valuable piece indeed  It's a shame you're potentially selling her, Karl, I understand just how much work goes into an OCD build like this. My first reaction was to buy it from you, however I'd not use it nearly as much as it deserves t...

Re: [FINALIZED] EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

Thanks. I did intend to keep this forever and dry store it if she needed to come off the road at any time. Unfortunately with the culmination of baby, Nic wanting to go part time, bills, loans, wanting to do my big bike test and the car parking situation at work means that it's the most sensible opt...

EOR - the modified 3.0 V6 Quad Cam 1MZ-FE VVTi for sale

I said that I would never do this but after a lot of consideration and a heavy heart I have come to the decision that I am going to list EOR for sale. This wasn’t an easy decision to make but a necessary one I feel. Currently she is used as a commuter car and the area around my work is turning into ...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**

So I get criticised if I don't do respond re test results the same day but it seems fine the other way around not to respond for days  What's the next thing to test please? Can I please have my alternator back and my exhaust mounts which we agreed would be made up and sent to me 3 months ago...

Ok - I will leave a voicemail in future.

What's the next tests?

Any progress on my exhaust mounts?
When's my alternator available to be sent back to me as I'm pretty sure we've discounted that as being the issue?

Peter - I tried to call you twice on the 23rd as agreed to run through some tests but your phone just diverted straight through to answer phone. I presumed that you were either busy or out of a signal area. Hence I did the tests you suggested and more that I could think of that would be relevant and...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**

A few more test results below which give a lot more of an indication IMO :-k - Test loom fitted again being powered from the engine bay fuse box. This read a drain of 0.37 - Every engine bay fuse box fuses and relays removed at the same time and still showed a drain of 0.37 - I left all of the fuses...
