Re: Any meets near Bristol?
I'm now trying to arrange a meet in January 2012 for us all in the southwest :) My car should be back to me in a week or so from the bodyshop and then the different wheels should be fitted in two weeks. If anyone fancies a mini meet in early december before the full meet happens then give me a shout...

[Mk2] [NA] Suspension bushes for Rev1
I have a NA rev 1 and I'm sure I've read somewhere before that the Rev1 has a different size suspension bush to any other revision. Does anyone have any links? Polybush replacements would be good as I've heard good things about them :) Any help would be muchly appreciated Also is there a link to a h...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**
Well after x2 12 hour days my car is now running a lot healthier, and I'm just about to drop it down to the bodyshop to have the sill and rust all sorted and resprayed tomorrow. The bodywork shop will start tomorrow and will take a week in total :) - don't worry there will be after photos when I pic...

Nearly all of the parts are going on tomorrow, so I will leave you wondering what they are till then :) (some are service parts, others are cosmetic ... if I pick them up from the post office, lol) In the mean time I've cleaned my engine bay up a bit: BEFORE http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/h480/...

[Mk2] [NA] REV 1 HT leads
Hello,
Im after a new set of HT leads for my 1991 MR2 Mk2 REV1
They don't have to be all singing all dancing, just reasonably priced
The cheapest I've found so far is a Magnecor set at nearly £90. I was thinking more around the £40 mark tops
Anyone got any links?

Awesome car, keep up the good work! Might I ask where you got that TRD badge from on the front? /want. Thanks - I got it custom made for me to match the back one; its made out of gel covered carbon fibre. I can take some close up pics for you if you want. If memory serves correct it only cost me ab...

Re: **UPDATED** 1991 Rev 1 (Beastly V6 1MZ-FE VVTI) **UPDATED**
Thought it was time for a very mini mini update as its been almost a week! lol :) First the car was very very dirty again, but it was pointless cleaning it with no where to put it. So, I set about clearing and sorting my garage again which took a few days. With this complete I could fix my attention...

I think you'll be sad to hand the keys over but overjoyed with your new toy
On a side note if you are selling up, you don't fancy getting rid of your stereo and wiring harness do you? lol

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Foglights or not ?
Heres a few pics I've found... on a black car if you used some crystal black DRLs IMO it would look lovely! (And make your car different to everyone elses! lol) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f51/russclark70/Mr2%20Pics/DRLs1.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f51/russclark70/Mr2%20Pics/DRLs2.j...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Foglights or not ?
I've seen a couple of people who have removed the fogs then put DRL running light strips in thier place. It gives the bar the impression that it goes fully from one side to another. It looks very nice and OEM; it doesn't really stand out at all. Let me have a dig and see if I can find some photos....

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Aftermarket handbrake??
I've taken the light trim apart (the bulbs that turn on when you open the door).
The bulbs are very small spherical ones. Anyone know of any led or small white ones I can replace them with?
Failing that whats the name of the bulb?

Lovely car, were there many versions without the spoiler? Really seems to suit it! I've always preffered it without aswell (looks more like a dino) I may stand to be corrected, but as far as I'm aware the spoilerless ones were only the REV1 NA engined cars :) So there are very few around nowadays (...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Foglights or not ?
IMO it looks a lot better without them. Its less fussy - The fog lights seem to break up the nice smooth lines of the car and makes it look a little cheaper. Plus how often do you use your front fogs anyway? To help you decided, heres mine, which doesn't have fogs, and has had a straight bar going a...

Also whilst I remember Im thinking of replacing the main centre light in the car with an ultra bright white LED version.
What bulb do I need for me NK2 rev1 na?
How does that trim come apart?
