SW20 Spider / Spyder ? (silver & blue) Salisbury A345

Spotted ! silver and blue SW20 Spider heading north out of Salisbury on the A345.

Rare car > never seen one of these in the flesh before. Unfortunately it was raining so the roof was up

Please forgive my ignorance, is it Spider or Spyder?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Head Gasket

if you skim the head and deck the block, then it will be OK fit a TRD/TTE multilayer steel head gasket. £70- £80 delivered direct from toyota-f1 in Germany ;) same product as Fensport, but without the Fensport tax! http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=86253&highlight= a metal headgasket ...

i'm no expert on MR2 (wrong forum for me  ) but from what i've read  the SW21 9807-0003. My Toyota EPC does not have this listing... Is that a USDM vehicle and uses the normally aspirated 2.2l 5S-FE engine? > > was there ever a 3sgte built July 1998 > March 2000 on a SW2# chassis?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] clutch and flywheel advice

Stock Toyota rev3 /ST205 = AISIN brand clutch. It is good for 300+ ft lb if you don't try and dump the xxxx out of it >> drag style. Any clutch will wear quick if you subject it to abuse ;) As a daily drive the stock unit is hard to beat. 300 /320 torque won't cause the clutch to slip on the move un...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] High boost/Bad map/Bad manifold design

Funny you should say about side mount throttle body Ryan, looking on the us mr2 site ,one of the old threads went into this, and it seems the earlier celica engines inlet manifold does basically line up,albeit a little bit of modding would be neccassary(throttle cable relocation etc). I understand a...
