Re: Charge cooler pump flow rate...

Muhsin, when you're talking about the "massive heat exchanger" are you referring to the rad or the CC core itself? I'm researching making my own at the mo and figured the bigger the pre-rad the better as it will be able to drop the water temp better than a smaller one. I'm also planning on...

Power FC/ Commander Air Intake Temp

Where exactly is the Air Intake temp reading taken that the Commander displays, is this the sensor that fits in the std air box??

Re: Any real good machine shops in the north east?

Hi Graeme,

There's a place in Stockton called Flavells, have a word with JJ, he got my head skimmed & I think he may have used them. I've also heard good things about them from other people,

Yeah totally enjoyed myself too,

Lovely driving over those moors on a sunny day with the roof off. Gonna see what I can do about Keilder now, I didn't realise it was that close :D

PS Andy, I'm popping over Pauls on Tuesday night to drop that thing off (just incase you read this).

Re: Help, knock sensor still showing high knock levels

Hi chaps, cheers for ALL the replys, Firstly I'm seeing levels around 65. Next, when i first saw levels of 50-65 I was running about 3 PSI @ 3000 RPM, I thought oh no, if I'm getting these levels at those revs imagine what it'll be like at 10 PSI @ 7000 RPM. Then last night I went out and noticed th...

Yip, just been talking with James & he suggests that too, cheers Mark,

I can't believe Thor wouldn't have checked the timing before starting mapping though

Re: Help, knock sensor still showing high knock levels

Hi Peter, (BTW cheque is in post to ya) I'm running Optimax, It's just come back from Thor and should be setup mint (they had 300 rwhp and had it revving up to 6500rpm at 1.4 Bar and never mentioned the knock). Now it's knocking when it's bearly making a couple of PSI. They disconnected my old senso...

Help, knock sensor still showing high knock levels

Need some help here guys, after installing my Power FC Commander I noticed the knock levels were very high, so I took my car to Thor to get it mapped (I put the high knock levels down to a poor map). While getting the car mapped Thor said my knock sensor was going mad & was probably busted so th...

Re: Help. How do I adjust Cusco Comp2 Coilovers?????

I may be well off the mark here, but I wouldn't unscrew that any further, maybe put it back where it was. If they are like my Cuscos they are not damper adjustable & that nut is not to adjust the damper, & I'm guessing it's holding the unit together. I had mine fully tightened, I may be wron...

Re: Back from Thor, dyno results & help sorting a boost prob

Just going back to the AVCR - how have you got it wired up to get the RPM signal? When I installed mine into my old Rev2 I used the injector signal. The only problem I found was that at WOT the injector was open 90% of the time, and the AVCR couldn't work out what the engine revs were - and the boo...
