Re: Foreign Car Spares - Birmingham - Avoid like the plague
I hope it all gets sorted for you. I hate scumbag people like this. I just don't see why people can't just provide something fit for purpose in the first place and avoid all the hassle it creates.

I like it too much
Plus that's not what i'm trying to get at. It's the whole principal of selling something on eBay, it's supposed to be as described and be fit for purpose.

Re: Avoid eBay seller 'aliishaq1' - MR2 Breaker
Just an update. Phoned him off another phone, and he answered. We spoke, he was civilised at first and then turned into abit of a tw*t. But basically he said i have my money now and that's the end of it. He did mention that the car the exhaust came off is now on eBay and that it definately came off ...

Re: Avoid eBay seller 'aliishaq1' - MR2 Breaker
Did you get a receipt to say you actually paid him the cash? If not then how are you going to prove to Ebay you paid for the item? I've no receipt to prove i've paid. But i have texts from him and a phone call conversation from when i collected it. Plus i also have the exhaust and he doesn't. I'm n...

Re: Avoid eBay seller 'aliishaq1' - MR2 Breaker
go back down there and get your cash back. As much as i'd like to, it's about an hours drive away so not one of the easiest of places to just pop in to. Plus i'm really happy with the exhaust, i'd just like to come to some sort of arrangement about paying someone to make it fit right. But he's maki...

Avoid eBay seller 'aliishaq1' - MR2 Breaker
Well, to start off i found an exhaust on eBay off this guy. Spoke to him regarding it and he said it's all in good condition will fit an NA MR2 etc and i was completely sold. I won the auction, contacted him for his address and travelled down to pick it up two days later. Paid in cash, deal was done...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] MK2 Fujitsubo Turbo Exhaust to an N/A
If you get stuck, give Matt a call at Exhausts UK in Sheffield (about 15 minutes from me). They do 1st class fabrication work as well as make their own systems. To give you an idea on pricing, to remake a B pipe including flexi, all in stainless, about £180. I didn't even buy the exhaust for that m...

Cheers Peter. Fantastic reply as always. I'll probably end up fitting it, but now i have that extra hassle of trying to find someone to weld something in place.
Cheers

[Mk2] [NA] MK2 Fujitsubo Turbo Exhaust to an N/A
Hi all, Just a quick one, I've just bought myself a Fujitsubo exhaust off eBay to replace my current blowing one on my N/A. It was advertised as for an NA car but after collecting it and lining it up it looks to be for a turbo. I'm in two minds weather to sell it on or wether to fit it. What would b...

Re: Wheel/Tyre size selection for trackdays?
You'd be better with the 15'' staggered setup. Car will feel and handle alot better. Plus tyres will also be cheaper and more selection of. You'd need the staggered setup due to mid-engine.

Re: Restoring paint work on a 3E5
From what i've been told MR2's didn't come lacquered. But after looking over my car i can see lacquer peel, but whether or not that is from a bad re-spray I'm not too sure. I've had a friend quickly rub in some leftover G3 onto a small spot and it seemed to of worked wonders. I'd probably use some o...

Restoring paint work on a 3E5
Afternoon all, I'm after abit of advice really. I've got a slightly faded 3E5 MR2, not quite pink, but definitely faded. I know it can be restored to it's former glory, i just don't know how to do it. Would anyone be able to recommend to advice or products on restoring it from experience? I'd probab...

Re: Show me your front number plate location!
Standard Jap holder and the plate is a 12"x3" A wee bit bigger would have been nicer to sit in and cover the whole black holder ..... yes, I am that anal and it annoys me that it doesn't I'm exactly like that. Needs to be done right, or there's no point doing it at all. Cheers for the inf...

Massive thank you Peter, After needing to replace my rear ARB bushes i contacted Peter at SBITS to get some ordered. When i came to do the job i didn't realize the subframe had to be dropped. Something i don't feel comfortable with. So i contacted Peter again, to book it in. When i turned up i knew ...
