Its not standard to have an auto-up feature, for some reason they only have auto-down.
However, the super electronics man Jimi has a mod you can do to make it have both if you wish... if only i can remember where the guide is...

Mixture screw
Have just tried adjusting my mixture screw and it just turns freely without stopping. I figured that this is not good, so i have got a replacement from the scrappy. Only problem is that the connectors are different between the Mk1a and Mk1b. Can i still use this screw on my mk1a, do i just need to c...

This is excellent news! I have a spare nitrous kit that is coming off of my VW daily driver (an experiment with a solid 2l 8v block that went very well) and look forward to using it on my mk1 when it is running properly. :twisted: Cant wait. My mates previous two mk1's, and my current one hold steady at around the half way mark, and then rise to a bit above, sometimes up to the 3/4 mark when under load (givin' it some beans!).
So it sounds pretty normal to me.

That'll be the HAZ fuse in the fuse box in your engine bay. Just get a new one.

Another window problem...
PLease help me. [-o< My passenger window has stopped going up. It has been struggling since i bought the car, but just as the april showers started, it got stuck half way down. The switches on the drivers side and passenger side will both lower the window further, but neither will raise it up again....
