Re: Upgrade your PS3 Hard Drive.

been told just a std 2.5 inch sata laptop hd Yup that is true, but this is a pretty good price - £3 cheaper than ebuyer, and free delivery :thumleft: And I doubt it will say 99% memory free for long, Play TV chews up HD space pretty quickly. Especially when the gf has it setup to record EVERY X Fac...

Re: Large capacity injectors for stock 4A-GE / GZE head / rail fitment?

Anything designed for the Toyota Supra Mk3 (7mgte engine) or Nissan 200sx s13 will fit - so that possibly includes some skyline injectors, tho i'm not 100% sure. They are simply Denso style Top Feed Injectors. Here are some 750cc ones from ebay in the US http://www.treperformance.com/ebaypictures/RC...

DO NOT buy the US one, there is a Cusco one on ebay for RHD cars. The LHD ones absolutely don't fit.

Re: 4agte - It Lives!

Well, here's an idea of what goes on in such a custom build as this: Today, was meant to get ready for MOT, but noticed a small leak. Leak was coming from 'merkin sourced oil kit. Needed an imperial tool... £4.69 for said tool. Initial leak solved, but in the process broke custom oil line... £5 in f...

Re: for all you haters!

Each to their own, but on a mk1 I quite liked the look of 3 spoke 15" wheels. :^o

Thats why I sold them on ebay for £15.67

(Which was £5.67 more than I paid for them!!)

Re: The downsides, as well as progress

I posted this on another forum, and i have also had issues with the new manifold / exhaust system, which is having to be resolved. Yay, i'm not the only one then  Afraid i can't really help with the alternator stuff tho, as I just used a standard 4agze one, although i did have to relocate it t...

Re: Clutch problem at low speed

There is a guy on the US site that sells mount inserts too - I got some of these a while ago, will have these fitted this week and see what happens. I have some of these fitted. Kirkosaurus on mr2oc.com, I think they were £30 delivered and i cant recommend them enough. Pretty cheap, and absolutely ...

Re: [All] [Generic] Who is running a turbo 4-AGE engine??

The GT3071 turbo I'll be using has an integral wastegate as space is at a premium. The photo MK1Chris posted is stunning, a very tidy installation indeed. What other forums cater for the 4A-GE engines? Although an integral wastegate can bring its own problems as i have found, I am yet to source one...

Re: [All] [Generic] Who is running a turbo 4-AGE engine??

Absolutely, there are guys in the states running 4agte's at over 300hp with no where near the setup you'll have.

I'm hoping for a rather more modest 220-240 depending on what pressure im happy running the turbo at.

Re: [All] [Generic] Who is running a turbo 4-AGE engine??

Sounds like you'll have an amazing setup there. :thumleft: My 4agte is only running on a t25 because i want it to be nice and drivable on the road, but your bigger turbo will definately pull in the upper rev range, you may find you suffer some lag lower down tho - not an issue if you are staying abo...

Re: D174 FUV - Black Mk1 Advert

Theres no way in a million years that 800 black mk1b's were made Well considering the many 10's of thousands of mk1's sold around the world, i think its perfectly possible, if not more than that. Trouble is, it's 20 years down the line. In this country I generally see a black 1b for sale or being b...

Re: D174 FUV - Black Mk1 Advert

Im reliably told there were 8 mk1b's in black, I can quite understand that there may have been a limited number of them for whatever reason, but I think it would be more like 8 hundred. Especially since I have 2 genuine mk1b bonnets in black - that would mean that including the one you have, the on...
