Well, after closer inspection, it turns out I have 2 fixings in the firewall.

So that saves me a job!

Can 6-points be fitted into a MK2?

Safety is my number one priority!

Hence i'm going to get a bucket seat and harness before I do a trackday....

Yeah, i'm going to be ditching the existing belt.

When I purchased my MR2, the previous owner had already installed some mounting points for harnesses. Theres an eyelet on the drivers side belt mount (low down on the floor) and theres an eyelet top rear center of the drivers seat on the firewall (complete with load-spreading plate within the engine...

I forgot to say, the +12 I came direct off the battery.

As for the switched +12, theres a few of them around, I found with my multimeter.

The stereo provides one, theres another on the lighting circuit, and another on the heating circuit.

it's quite a loud exhaust, especially so with the baffle removed.

I dont find it drony though.
