Re: Mk2 Supercharger Startup Video

Sounds a bit like my Lexus! \:D/

I've got an Eaton M62 bolted to mine.

Best bit of a supercharger is the torque, literally from 1k, it just pulls and pulls like a train!

Nice work mate! 8)

Pardon me if i'm pushing my luck, but I need one final wire

Re: Nur Spec R Exhaust

Apexi Hayabusa with a decat pipe and no bung.

It sets car alarms off, and gives me a headache after about 30 minutes worth of driving.

Whilst I have my dash apart, I don't suppose you would know which one the RPM Sensor is? (If it's there)

Re: Godspeed Intercoolers

When I had my unichip mapped after getting the CT20b fitted the mapper actualy ran the car right up to 5th gear high speed to check for knock and mapped it appropiately. I had the oe intercooler on there so I got a warning to err, not do it again lol. Sorry for taking this slightly off-topic, but f...

Boost, ECU and Engine lights

Been playing with my Rev1 this evening. Fitted the standard re-circ vlave back on. Then decided to up the boost. Got it up to about 1.0 - 1.1 bar, was running fine, then the check engine light came on and all power was lost. As soon as the boost came off, engine power restored, and I was put into &q...

Re: HKS SSQV

Thanks for that. Only reason I ask is because I have just taken off my "HKS SSQV" valve (as described by the previous owner) and fitted the re-circ, so wanted to check. Will have to give mine a good clean, as I haven't seen the HKS logo anywhere, yet it works perfectly, and the chap I boug...

Shortening baffles in exhaust

Imagine if you can, of a removable baffle in an exhaust.

This baffle is approx 300mm long.

When removed, the exhaust sounds good, albeit a tad noisy.

If I cut this baffle down in size, would that make it a bit nosier, and also more free flowing?

IE, should I cut my baffle or not, lol

Re: fitting corbeau bucket seat

Tomorrow evening i'm going to remove my current seat and offer up the bucket seat.

At least then i'll have a better idea as to whats involved, and by the sounds of it, will get something fabricated :)

Re: Glove box removal

Similar to the ones on the Lex mike.

Two "posts" at the bottom which need to be slid out.

Quite awkward if never been done before, as they can be very stiff (mine was)
