Re: Handling - twitchy above 60mph
So sorry to hear that Ashley, with 2 young girls myself I'd find that very difficult to deal with. Hope all is going well and prognosis is good for long term. Puts into perspective whats important in life.

Re: Handling - twitchy above 60mph
Hi all, My Mk2 is feeling twitchy and not very confidence inspiring at speeds above 60mph. It's been off the road for a number of years due to doing the 2GRFE swap. I've got Meister-R GT1 Coilovers, set 10 clicks back from hard. Has TRD ARB's, strut braces, ploybushed etc. Running Enkei RP01's, 16&...

Re: Handling - twitchy above 60mph
Yeah, rear outer tie rod bearings have been replaced. There's nothing original left on the car suspension or bushing wise, it's all been replaced over the years, albeit car has been off the road for a long time so it's done bu88er all mileage. Tyres - probably about 5 years old? Still like new in te...

Drift Limits Performance a couple of years ago (only done about 200 miles since).
Wheels in motion are about 20 mins away, may just try that

Re: Handling - twitchy above 60mph
Lowered a little, but nothing major else the tyres would rub.
AFAIK, geometry was set for stability. I may take it somewhere else to get it done again if there's no obvious suggestions.

Mines for sale if you're interested. Asking what I paid for it. Doubt I'll ever get around to fitting it!

I read lots of complaints, but has anyone ever followed through with legal proceedings?

Re: DriftLimits Driving Experiences
I'd just like to say thanks for a great experience this morning! I was on the 8.30 silver drifting experience in an mx5, learnt a great deal on how to drift, even managed some transitions!! I'll be back for another go \:D/ Very professional setup you've got running, with friendly staff. I've been to...

Re: New car or engine swap?
£5k (very roughly) for a 2gr, if you install yourself, using Goukys swap kit bits and find an engine. Add a few k on top if you pay someone to do it. Supercharger, if you find one, is another 2k to 3k on top, plus another fitting kit from gouky. I got mine from enquiring on UK Lotus Forums. They are...

Re: Mk2 2gr supercharged
What ECU are you using Paul? I ask as I seen this while browsing for something else: https://www.scs-delta.co.uk/product-page/lotus-evora Not cheap granted, but then for an (almost) PnP harness with a base calibration, and spec, its pretty interesting for the 2GR posse.. Interesting - I might strik...

Re: [All] [Generic] AEM AFR Wideband monitors - how do they work?
How much head room is there on the stock injectors when adding boost? With the stock ones, they should be right on their upper limits. I do have bigger injectors waiting to fit, but waiting for Gouky to either remove the immobiliser on his TRD tune, or find the appropriate sections in the standard ...

Re: [All] [Generic] AEM AFR Wideband monitors - how do they work?
I've ordered an Innovate MTX-L Plus, ticks all the boxed. The standard 2GR Ecu is quite adept at altering itself, but it has it's limitations. Exactly what the upper limitations are I'm not quite sure, hence getting the AFR gauge to keep an eye on it. Standalone - easier said than done. The only one...

[All] [Generic] AEM AFR Wideband monitors - how do they work?
I'm running a supercharged 2GR-FE currently on a standard ECU. I'm a bit paranoid of running lean and popping the engine, so want to get an AEM AFR gauge. About to push the button on purchase, but one niggling question I'm wondering if any of you know the answer to. How does it determine what is lea...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] fuel fittings
Speedflow or Earls all the way. I've got Earls on mine, and a single Torques fitting as they were the only supplier for what I needed. There is a difference in quality, and with a fuel system I wouldn't skimp.
