Re: Donato's Track Rev3
Well thats me screwed. Was planning to keep my latest MR2 stock this time round but after seeing how good a red t-bar looks on coilovers with REV3 wheels I've changed my mind! Damn you! I actually like the offset of standard wheels on dropped MR2's, looks purposeful and track ready rather ...

Re: RedMoon Racing [MSV Team/Trackday Trophy]
Would this be the red MR2 I saw at Anglesey last year popping flames like a mofo? :D That series looked like great fun if it was you! How did you find your old T-bar on track by the way? I have a heavily modified Elise I use on track but considering converting my daily T-bar N/A into a cheap back-up...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!
Thanks for your help, and yes got my hands on a Kenwood HU and it does indeed have a 12v Antenna cable ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Now just to figure out what the OEM wires are hooked up to

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!
Its a Rev2 with OEM active stereo with 2 subs in the cubby holes.
I'm guessing that these are all amped up anyway.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Can the AMP+ and ANT+ from the new headunit just be drawn of the 12v when ignition is on?
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Again, thanks you have been most helpful!

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!
Thanks for your help I plan on ripping it all out in the summer when I graduate and move back home. I have no problem in starting from scratch and running in new speaker cables and amping up components etc. Its just I'm still at my flat for a few months and don't have any of my tools here. Having no...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!
Hi, Thanks for the help. I think the white cable on mine must be 12v constant as when it is grounded to something metal there is a spark. Still weird as sometimes it completely cuts the HU power, then sometimes I can totally disconnect it and the HU is still on :S Think I'm just gonna try a new head...

[Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!
Recently acquired my 4th MR2 and the stereo has never worked since purchase. The guy mentioned he fitted a switch to manually control the aerial so the problem may lie with that. (Wasn't sure I believed this). Anyway I dug out the HU and found there was a switch there, but it was placed in between a...

Painting t-bar glass?
I was wondering if anyone had ever colour coded their t-bar roofs? I love T-bars when the roof is off but not a fan of the black looking roof on a red car etc. I'm sure with the correct preparation (Grit paper/etch prime, thin coats and laquer etc) you could colour code the roof, or even vinyl wrap ...

I quite liked the car in the spec I got it from you but its rare you see an OEM looking MR2 as clean as this these days so thought I would do the world a favour

1993 Rev2 MR2 GT T-Bar N/A (Polybush, Tein, Mongoose) *£1300/£1500*
I've decided its not very sensible to have the MR2 as a road car and share an Elise as a track car (Especially as a student lol) Here's the spec: £1300 if gone this week so I don't have to renew tax. 1993 Rev 2 Mr2 GT T-bar N/A 6 Months MOT 1 Month Tax (Will tax for right price) Tons of service hist...

Re: paint colour suggestions please help
I would say Bayside blue is the nicest.
.
.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
But I would go Caribbean blue as it would atleast look original and should hold car value a bit better

Quick alternator whine query
Think my alternator has been on its way out for a few weeks now as I have been getting an occasional whine at low speeds (not belt screech, it sounds like a supercharger) Last few days it has been whining louder than ever and getting hot and smelly from the alternator area and voltage looked a bit l...
