Re: Yoko A drives or C drives??

I'm using C drives on 14'' rims, they replaced 539's Have used both types on track - very similar performance.Progresive feel on track, didn't feel like they were going to throw me off at every corner. Which is quite handy for a driver with very limited ability.Anna also tried them on my car(ex F1 te...

Re: Drivers air scoop

^^ I know its hardly a selling point! Just wondered if someone messed up with the moulds or doesn't know their left from their right and now have a volume of these to flog - time will tell  could be that the huge blind spot they create means that for LHD makets (USA etc.!)they are on the righ...

Re: Mr2 Super Edition, SC white over gold for sale , i'm nothing to do with it!

I like the colour but why is it that i have always been told the Japs never liked leather. Maybe it's because they are not sitting on it? Is possibly due to climate as well. horrendously hot in summer so I here, so at least if the seats are cloth for the bits you sit on you won't get a burnt bum! /...

Re: Mr2 Super Edition, SC white over gold for sale , i'm nothing to do with it!

^^ same here - interior tweaks make it look more upmarket, a far better comprimise than the full leather in the UK. I wonder looking at pictures of Mark's SE and other jap cars of the era, whether the steerng wheel is fairly generic? Anyway really love the colour scheme, makes it stand out fromt he ...

Re: Yoko A drives or C drives??

Okay - are they similar to the a539 of old, handling wise? I haven't tried the C drives or A drives. I had the S drives (top of the range of those trio) on my old beemer. I quite liked them although for some reason they didn't perform amazingly well in a tyre test. I have heard the C drives are the...

Re: Best way to remove dashboard??

The front bulkheads can rot out on a mk1 - its possible that the base of the screen is the culprit. HTH

Re: Mr2 Super Edition, SC white over gold for sale , i'm nothing to do with it!

Looks really good in hard top form - usually see mica blue tintops. Regret not buying it T? Not really it would've been £7K landed in the UK. Was a couple years ago mind! T Ouch - mind you it would have poss been of the rarest in the UK. :D Posted: Fri Sep 12, 2008 5:42 pm Post subject: ---...

Re: Goodbye and Thanks

I'm gonna surprise a few people and agree with the comments above. I've had my rev3 turbo for just over 3 years, It was the only car I have wanted since childhood, Black, Tbar Turbo mk2 and I have to say I am enjoying the mk1 even more. So much so that I am considering delaying putting the turbo en...

Re: Mr2 Super Edition, SC white over gold for sale , i'm nothing to do with it!

As a matter of interest I nearly bought one of these when it came up at a Yahoo auction a year or two back...picture here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/tonigmr2/SupereditionSC.jpg I like them, as you can see the one I looked at was a hardtop, so there are at least two in the world! I just ...

Re: Goodbye and Thanks

IMHO You`ll never feel as happy with a mk2. They don`t have that something special, that gets under your skin Dave Agree - I've driven a rev3 N/A and a turbo, both were okay (turbo amazingly quick) but nothign special. Can see their appeal but if anything they are a bit too civilised, the original ...

Re: Oh Dear

Wheels are a bit spangly, paint job a bit '90's ford - really loathe modifying for the sake of adding nonsense onto things with no real purpose. Why not just stick an mk2 lump in and be real original

Re: Mr2 Super Edition, SC white over gold for sale , i'm nothing to do with it!

Hello Lauren; Sorry, I mean Super Edition; mistype. Hmm you cannot really say is lesser or v.versa as the white/gold version comes with unique alcantara + leather seats which matches with the interior and is not available as an option; all glass are Bronze tinted (T-Bar as well). The following is a...

Re: leatherette anyone?

Well its the thought that counts: the leather interior on most aren't up to much these days, and I guess one advantage of the leatherette is it won't go mildewy when the roof panels leak :thumleft:
