Re: WEB SITE :- whats happening ?

TBH am not a fan of separatism, which MK1 owners in particular seem to favour. :o :D /Also probably better to discuss with committee on IMOC exactly what you are going to ask before discussing it on the forum perhaps? T Same here Toni - theres seems to be a level of movement in mr2 ownership of the...

Re: WEB SITE :- whats happening ?

Jeremy, the reasons why you left are no longer relevant, The new club will be far removed from the way the old club was run, but some things remain & cant be changed, we can only give out the relevant info on gatherings, runs etc, short of wacking every member over the head & bundling them ...

They are 6.5" wide. Aren't standard wheels et38?

Re: WEB SITE :- whats happening ?

Perhaps a public forum is not the best place to air grievances, it is an amusing read but it really does not present the club as a unified body :-k Then perhaps it is not? I'm unsure of the need for a club to aid survival of a well loved car, I reckon they'll still be pampered or at least enjoyed (...

Re: WEB SITE :- whats happening ?

Vix, with all due respect here, as soon as the phone was put down after Stuarts call to you both regarding the decision regarding the website, you both resigned, not by phone call, which would have been the honourable thing to do as Stuart had done regarding tthe decision to go with the pro design,...

Re: WEB SITE :- whats happening ?

Playing devils advocate - what is any spangly new website going to offer that you can't get from the IMOC site? I suspect this is the biggest issue with your membership decline; £5 IMOC membership with a fully loaded site and hundreds of helpful members, versus £30 with no website, few members and ...

Re: Nice MK1a Found For Sale

I was surprised that the ad doesn't give the cars mileage as I'd love to know (important on a car of this age!) It's really not. People seem to think mileage is important but on older cars it's pretty meaningless. The actual condition of a 20 year old car is far more important than how much it's be...

Re: Yoko A drives or C drives??

Thakns Garrick - not picked the car up yet, tbh I think I'm going to try the A drives - simply because everyone uses the C drives!! Not really worried about having ultimate grip in wet if it sacrifices feel, as its better to drive slower :thumleft:
