[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake upgrades

If I it the uprated rev2 calipers and discs to the front of the car and left the back (until purchased and fitted) will this have a major negative...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] CT26A vs CT26

Ive heard the the turbo from the supra is an improvment over the stock rev1-2 turbo but im not sure about 10% better than the ct20b as everyone with rev1s-2s would be upgrading to them instead of the ct20b surely? Have you looked around at some of the hybrid cb20bs as I think that would be a better ...

Re: Turbo engine in a n/a

an mbc would only be needed to increase boost, the standard rev3 was 240bhp so you should have around that figure too start. a healthy rev3 with bolt ons can be 300bhp read the articles in the knowledge base for futher info and advice on that

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] coloured or gloss black bomex bonnet

Personally to pull of a carbon or carbon style bonnet you need a kitted car .i find a mr2 without sideskirts, bumper and spats/rear bumper it just looks too much for me (normally). If you do Id go aquamarine as it wont stick out as much and you can always change colour if you do go with a full kit e...

Re: Someone point out on a photo...

Im guessing you have a rev1 turbo as you have the mechanical speedo drive so no you cant just use the electronic clusters without doing some other modifications, I think there would be a fair bit of work involved in that compared to just replacing with a std rev1 speedo drive replacment.

Re: M O T failure

The handbreak cable on mine had to be tightend and apparantly it works from the rear brake calipers but yers I think it can be tightened, as for the fog light switch you havent quite stated whats wrong with it? is it broken as mine sounds exactly the same and mine passes the m.o.t.

Thanks for your help, took the 2 for the M.O.T without any and she failed ,but this was due to a knackered rear caliper and they said nothing about the side indicators :thumleft:

are side indicators an M.O.T requirment?

The bomex nose cone now fitted on my two has removed the standard strip for the side indicators and so at present has no indicators on the side of the car. I have heard if they are not fitted that they dont get tested? will I pass or will I get problems do you rekon?
Thanks in advance for your input.
