Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Help needed regarding rev1 turbo speedo sensor

my speedo sensor broke aswell, I was sold a non turbo replacement and there is a big difference!! but you can buy the individual parts from the speedo sensor new ie the cog which usually snaps so it can be quite cheap to do.

this link may help you.

Re: cod 4 or cod 5?

I have now bought both and find them both great games, although after replaying 4 after a few days of 5 it seems smoother faster and with better graphics. For me 4 is the best although I am enjoying 5 and the tanks are good for blasting people!

Re: Quarter Glass

yers there is some sealant all around the quarter glass which is a right PITA to remove! the screws are accesable through the inside after removing all the plastic trim and another nut behind the plastic vents near the quater glass.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] new car or engine swap

but...youd have to upgrade brakes, aspects of suspention to handle the extra power. The insurance is also more expensive than a standard turbo. if you sold the n/a and put that money with it you could get a good turbo ?its a buyers market atm maybe its worth looking around first

"just strap a turbo on" as you do, as youve had the car 2 months thats maybe why you have not realised why its easier to buy an mr2 turbo,as yet I have heard of no one who has ever turbod the 3sge on this forum or any other I cant recolect. there has been a supercharged one though. The cos...

save up a few changes? as in modifications wouldnt that be illegal to fit them and not declare them to you? or do you mean have them fitted at once?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 280-300BHP on a Rev 2

out of interest how much would you say 300 bhp on the rev1-2 unit has set you back? thats the sort of figure id like too go for, would you say thats running safely on your internals or pushing them too far?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 280-300BHP on a Rev 2

turning the boost up a little wouldnt cost alot?
then the 2 is pretty old in comparison too the other 2 cars mentioned and a hell of alot cheaper too buy imo you could easy close the gap with money spent in the right places

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 280-300BHP on a Rev 2

ebc and raise the boost a little
air filter would help if you dont have one
ct20b turbo upgrade

intercooler or charge cooler would be probally needed to stay safe.
maybe a good service could replenish some lost horses?

depends if its fly horse power or atw aswell

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] About to up the boost but want to do it safely

yer water injections an option but imo it would probally still be best to uprate your cooling the standard intercooler is tiny and heats up really fast. if your running that sort of boost its best to try and keep your temps down as much as possible I went for an xspower intercooler and it is alot co...
