Re: Anyone Send me Plastic for clear rear lights?
I did my lights recently. I got the material from a local electrical wholesaler. It was a sheet about 2'x2' which is normally used in hung ceilings. It cost about £3 and because you get loads of material you can afford a few mistakes.

Hi, welcome to the forum. If you let everyone know where you are you can probably find someone nearby who has second hand bits. Fill in your location in your profile.

Re: Failed the MOT today
If the exhaust is not blowing just corroded why not wire brush it and paint it with high temperature paint? You dont even need to use high temperature paint as it will look good enough for long enough to pass the test

Go to Toyota, say you are a member of IMOC (or any Toyota Club) and they should give you 5% ish discount. I was quoted £102.74 at my local Toyota garage.

I got 5 Yoko A539s 195/50/15 from blackcircles.com last month for £147 delivered. They are not listing them now so must be discontinued. However they delivered next day and are very cheap.

I got my Mongoose from ricerocket.co.uk for £258 delivered. They have gone up a bit to £262 but still a great price and service. They also sell on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-MR2-MK1-85-90-MONGOOSE-S-STEEL-EXHAUST_W0QQitemZ120012590532QQihZ002QQcategoryZ10428QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewIt...

Paul Woods manual choke works great, but remember you still have to insert a valve cap into the hole in the throttle body. I used a bit of silicon sealant to hold the cap in palce.

I would be really interested in how these panels fit. My rear drivers side is shot and I like the idea of replacing the whole panel. Let us know when you get them and post some pics if possible

Sorry about that, I guess you would have to ask Jimi. Maybe we could call it a 'Jimi Window', oops I fear this could lead to serious moderation.
