Re: Free poly bushes?
When I did mine I had a spare set of suspension from a car I broke. I had these shotblasted and powder coated so once the old suspension came off it was just a quick rebolt job, I also got all new bolts. It took me and my son 3 hours to do the job and that included nipping down to S-Bits for another...

a) They are
b) They are not crap (unless you ask Jinxy)
c) It doesn't get much cheaper than free
They will not do much on their own as they only do the front of the tie bar, you really need to replace the inner swivel bushes as well in my opinion.

That is a ridiculous price Nige, especially when you are supplying the panels. The top of the windscreen is a bit of a pain but not that bad. I would get a few more quotes

With an MOT I would expect 7-800 pounds with the parts on it, but it looks like NigeB is having it.

Re: Spongy Pedal and Poor Brakes
Quick update - the car is sorted!!! \:D/ Needed bleeding 3 full times with the engine running to sort it. Amazed that I'd bled it already (3 times on each caliper) without the engine running and when I tried the first time with the engine the amount of air that came out of the rear calipers was inc...

Re: Rear bumper removal
There are two bolts under the rear of the car that go through the exhaust hangars and two nuts inside the boot. You will have to remove the boot trim behind the number plate and the two nuts should be revealed

Re: Eibach Springs
If you want Konis why not buy my spare car, you will have to drill some holes for the top mounts but with a spare car you will have all the bits. http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=113547 It would work out (nearly) cheaper than buying the Koni kit and you get a free car for spares :thumleft:

Re: Quarter panel removal
Why did you not cut the top section behind the vent?
I have done both sides
http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... hlight=56k
It is much quicker when you do the second side

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 MK1 with some nice parts.
The rust on the arches in actually not that bad Max (my good car was much worse), the worst bit is the rear c-panel bit but I have the repair panel. The inner arches are good. I bought it to put the Konis on my good car but with the amount of use my car gets it would be a waste. I already have a Mon...

Well if no one needs the parts I guess I will have to put an MOT on it and sell it as a normal car

Re: Brake Pedal creeps down... MOT failure... :(
Agree with Chris, the bleed nipple leaking will allow the brake pedal to go down, any motor factor will be able to sell you a replacement bleed nipple for a few pennies. Can you not just stick your spare on for the MOT? Sounds like your tester is a bit keen though. Does this mean your car will be ba...

The parts you need are still available from Toyota, they are shown in the following drawing (this is from the US EPC) http://opc.mr2oc.com/online_parts_catalog/Body/front%20bumper.GIF It might be a good idea to be sat down before they tell you the price  You will need some good drills (I thin...

This might sound silly but I would check the switch on the drivers side. Take it out clean it up and spray with WD40, quite often this works
