Re: X Box 360 - How reliable are they ? Years..... Weeks..... Hours?????

As most know I replaced mine 2 weeks ago and after approx 10 hours play spread over the 2 weeks I got 3 red rings flash up yesterday!!!

Luckily it swithed back on straiight after but microsoft should have sorted out the new ones especially as they know it's going to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong patrick.

But by saying hardcore he means remove every possible gram of weight!

Removing weight improves acceleration, handling, everything really!

have you got an insurance quote with one fitted?

And imagine having an accident without a helmet on.

I'm assuming that your british summer time driving will be on the road?

Re: newbie needs newbie help!

Personally, for a daily driver I'd choose a rev3+ n/a(178bhp)but if you can afford to run a tubby then go for it they range from 220 bhp to 245 bhp deppending on revision/age.
Fuel economy for an n/a is around 300 to a tank and realisticly a turbo will do 180 to a tank. I'm lucky to get 160 to a tank!

Any idea what you want from the car? Sporty? Tourer? Or just power!

Just take a look round the forum and you'll soon pick up an idea of what revisions and mk's do what, hope that makes sense?!

I remember when you did this and wasn't to keen on it, IMO it just doesn't look right.

It's different that's for sure but don't be swayed by what I or anyone else thinks it's your car and you choice!

Re: [All] [Generic] Drag (as in wind not queen)

I found with a rev 3 spoiler fitted at high speed that a pebble felt more like a speed bump and with the the FE boot lid the back end felt like it was bouncing around. IMO something like the new jaguar spoiler but around 1/2 inch high would be just right, like above its a very, very fine line betwee...
