What are they worth?
My Mk1 T-bar has been off the road, stored in my garage, for a couple of years and I've finally got it all up and running again. However, I've just bought another property and funds are a bit tight, so I could really do with selling it. I'm quite happy to renew my premium membership (it lapsed a cou...

Re: Water Pump
But why will that make it turn when the engine is turning over to start, but not when the engine is running?

Water Pump
My MR2 has been sat in my garage for a while due to an earth problem, which involved it turning over and over but never starting. I have been round all the earth points, cleaned them all up and eventually a month or so ago got it started. Which was great, but it spat its alternator belt as the alter...

Re: Sarah (I think?) from Congleton
Well I can be currently seen in a BMW 5 series, an MX5 or a Sapphire Cosworth. My MR2 has been off the road for a few months, but that should be sorted soon

Re: Sarah (I think?) from Congleton
Once the car is working again I haven't decided whether to sell or keep. But I will be up for a few runs in it before I do sell if I go that way. Tim left the company shortly after buying the car. I left at the end of last year too. Oh, and the reason for the hold up on Friday was a Vauxhall Astra t...

Re: Sarah (I think?) from Congleton
I'm good thanks Neil. I'll be even better when the MR2 is back on the road and now the weather is improving, I can get out in the garage to have a look at it
I don't know if I told you, but the red Mk1 you had, you sold to a guy I worked with in my last job.

Sarah (I think?) from Congleton
In a dark coloured Mk2 - you stopped to tell me about the accident on the A54 tonight just outside Congleton. I was the impossibly good looking dude in the BMW 5 series. I thought I recognised you but couldn't remember where from and then it came to me that we met in the Kings after an IMOC curry ni...

Re: 7th december stoke monthly meet PT2
It's my birthday that day, and I've already commited to an SXOC meet in Bradford
If I change my mind about travelling all the way to Bradford, I'll be there. Not sure if I'd bring my barge or my MX5 (the MR2 is off road for winter).

Re: stoke meet 2nd november
Apologies for not making it folks - I woke up this morning with an eye infection and look like I'm celebrating halloween still. I was hoping it would clear up as the day went on, but it hasn't and I don't want to be straining it and making it worse driving

Re: stoke meet 2nd november
I'm going to aim to come along, as long as the Corsa of doom actually gets me there in time.
If I'm running late, I'll send you a text Rob and meet you en route

Re: stoke meet 2nd november
My 200 has been written off, just after I SORN'd the MR2 and put the Cosworth on a limited mileage policy that I'm already ahead on
So I may have to turn up in the Vauxhall Corsa hire car that they have given me

You should expect them to turn into a crashing bore about how the 4 wheel drive system enables them to go round corners at the speed of light... rally heritage... grunty grip... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Don't they look nice all shiny
As I am taking the MR2 away to an event next weekend, I thought it was high time I gave Cyril a good clean. As I work in a dusty environment, the car is usually caked in a layer of wood flour and is a sod to keep clean. So today, I really made the effort and even broke out the most expensive polish ...
