Re: T bar ok for track days?
I'm one of the people who agreed to disagree with Max :D I'd NEVER buy a T Bar if planning on using it for trackdays... they are too wibbly wobbly. Sunroof is the way to go, or Tin Top obviously :thumleft: Despite owning a T Bar, I agree completely. In fact for enthusiastic daily driving I would pe...

I don't toot my horn on too many things Wise choice mate - my mum always told me that sort of activity would make me go blind  To be frank, the only "proof" you have supplied is links to websites full of funny shaped writing that I don't understand. That's how people DARE questio...

Re: monthly drive out - peak district/cat and fiddle
I'll meet up with folks at Tesco - it's easier than all of you Stoke boys trying to meet up with just me in Congleton ;) I'm looking forward to finally going to a predominantly MR2 meet in an MR2 rather than a Starion or 200SX. That said, I'll know a couple of people on the list through SX ownership...

Re: Tbar Seals
Have you tried the silicone and clingfilm method? Mine let a few drips in at the beginning of the week, but now I've been driving around for a few days without moving the roof panels, the natural settling of them in place as the car twists seems to have formed a seal. Going off on a tangent, is ther...

I was in my MR2
I did see the Silvia on my way past (it looked too busy to stop), but I don't know who it belongs to.

Mind you, if I'm at a loose end tomorrow and it's dry, I might have a blast up there

Re: Tbar Seals
Well the eccentric guides didn't work #-o I tried the silicone and cling film method last weekend, but have been driving around in a company car all week (a Renault Scenic 1.6 auto :( ) and the MR2 has been safely tucked up in my garage, so I haven't had chance to see if it works. However, the Renau...

I used to commute to Devon in mine - not the most enjoyable of experiences, which is why I bought a 200SX. The downside to that was 22mpg

Have you got a post code for the pub for the sat-nav? If I'm at a loose end I might bring my MR2 along - I fitted some new (well standard) wheels on it today so I would like to see the difference in handling it has made.
