That's a fun one. IIRC I got a pair of screwdrivers behind it and gently levered it out until I could get a puller onto it.

My OMP bucket seat is as comfortable as the stock seat I reckon. It's a 'fat boy' version so not a squeeze to get into.

Only real way to gain a lot of headroom is to lower the seat, which would mean a bucket seat on custom runners and a bit of fabrication. My ST202 SS3 cost me £500 and she's got me through 4 trackdays so far without any serious issues (usual brakes, tyres etc). I use the car everyday as well.
