Re: Cambelt Cog

I'm going down the screwdriver/chisel route with not much going on. Can't get a hammer on either as there is just no room to manoeuvre it! If you can get some plusgas/penetrating oil into the woodruff ket slot that sometimes helps it slide off. Yup there's not a lot of space to faff about down ther...

Re: Cambelt Cog

That's a fun one. IIRC I got a pair of screwdrivers behind it and gently levered it out until I could get a puller onto it.

Re: MR2 MK1 Aerodynamics

From reading the comments the chap seems approachable to run your own alterations to the model through his system. It would be interesting to see what the papal mod actually does with a hole cut behind the rad bulkhead. I am building a 3d printer but I doubt I can get a detailed enough model to pri...

Re: Headroom improvements?

My OMP bucket seat is as comfortable as the stock seat I reckon. It's a 'fat boy' version so not a squeeze to get into.

As to the stock look, yeah that kind of goes out the window.

Re: Headroom improvements?

I assume we are talking about a rev2. I am 6'4" and I have 2/3 inches above my head to the roof lining. Would you say you have 'a long body' ? I'm the same height as you and the only issues I've had with a stock setup is in a coupe where the trim round the moonroof was close enough to cause di...

Re: Headroom improvements?

Only real way to gain a lot of headroom is to lower the seat, which would mean a bucket seat on custom runners and a bit of fabrication. I have a fixed base mounted bucket seat on a custom frame (made myself) and it drops the seating position a couple of inches I reckon. I've adapted a set of stock ...

My ST202 SS3 cost me £500 and she's got me through 4 trackdays so far without any serious issues (usual brakes, tyres etc). I use the car everyday as well. :thumleft:

Re: JAE Discussion Thread

We're opposite the OC so they're on t'other side of the grass road.

'Sitting Pretty' have Q4

R7 doesn't seem to be allocated on the list:

Maybe we can split it with the Corolla Club. :-k
