Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smallest turbo to run 10sec 1/4?

I know its the age-old question and i've had my fair share of experience with my MR2 and building them, but i dont know if i can hack not being on full chat until 5krpm's.
I know Xxxx and Mike were running low 11's at the pod with a 3076,how many other board members have used this blower?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smallest turbo to run 10sec 1/4?

I'm really leaning towards a GT35 at the moment but i dont know what model to go for, which one was Toni using?
Who is using Gt35 on the board? What's the .6 hot-side likely to provide in terms of output and spool characteristics?(with my accompanying mods?)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smallest turbo to run 10sec 1/4?

This was something i was thinking about, and i was hoping somebody would mention it.I spoke with Xxxx whilst at the pod last year,he ran 11.1 with a 75shot of gas also.
Can anyone confirm the 3076 (i'm guessing the .8 hot side) would be capable of this?

[Mk2] [Turbo] 235 sect. tyre on a 7" rim? Has anyone?

As above really,I'm trying to get as much grip from the rear on my turbo.Since the GT3071 has been fitted and tuned its pretty scary with the 215's that are on there and our crazy british weather. I've had a search but couldnt find an exact definition, I'm running BBS LM's at the mo so a 235 would u...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Amazing BBS wheel offsets...

thats true, So maybe his offsets were wrong in the first place, they look awesome as they are now and have a nice lip to polish at the same time. Can anyone think of a reason why i shoudn't leave them? The second pic i posted with the blue car (mk4 golf i think) is definately fitted from the inside b...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Amazing BBS wheel offsets...

i think i'm gonna stay with them bolted from the back,i maybe wrong, but they look a lot better and in my mind possibly safer in terms of lateral strength. When cornering hard, the pressure will be put on the wheels outer dish+wheel fixing bolts (or inside of the basket) from behind whereas if the whe...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Amazing BBS wheel offsets...

Hi Bry,i forgot you had LM's on your silver one. I'm not sure either way they bolt on,there is a lip for them to sit on if they sit on the inside :? . Also,a lot of the advertising pictures i have seen or can find shows the spoked part of the wheel bolted from the inside. http://i52.photobucket.com/...

Re: SE Rolling Road Day Sunday 1st July **UPDATED 30.06.07**

Okay, got my manifold back this arvo!!Braced in three places now  Should be stout enough for the job. HOWEVER. My T3 turbo gasket has completely fallen apart (looks like it has burnt away :? ).Nieve of me to assume one of my mates would have one (hell, they all have T3 sized turbo'd cars) an...
