Hi all,
I'm replacing my clutch and want make sure it's reassembled correctly, where the clutch release fork pivots on the ball, there's a spring clip inside the fork. This clip can sit in one of two grooves, does anyone know which one it has to sit in?
Thanks

Re: engine mounts
I went for Powerflex engine mounts, and honestly there may well be slightly more vibration but it certainly isn't noticeable when you're driving. Considering the price gap surely OEM aren't worth it? Also there are three different sizes for the front mount (73mm, 79mm, 83.5mm), the rear is the same.

Re: Car wont start
What leads to you buy? Aftermarket leads are poorer quality than OEM. I had some generic blueprint ones from a local motor factor that were garbage, wire insulation was too thin. I then bought Bosch which were good, but going forward would only buy OEM, they'll last another 20 years which no afterma...

Re: Oil Leak MR2 Turbo
Good call doing the cam cover gasket, it's worthwhile doing if even it wasn't the source of your current oil leak. My Rev 3 turbo has multiple oil leaks, one was cam cover, one was from the stock oil cooler which sits under the exhaust manifold, one is from the main crank seal, one might be turbo fe...

I'm not even close to the stage of doing something like this, but love the concept and I'm keen to see you get on with it.
Out of curiosity, how many monitoring outputs does the Link give you?

Is this the immaculate rev5 I saw at the Glasgow meet a couple weeks ago? That's frustrating man. I'd imagine producing your purchase receipt would help you in this situation, other than that just stick to your guns regarding value, always argue what they offer.

Re: Downpipe options?
Thanks for all the replies, I'd had a look at Berks and saw some poor reviews of build quality which is a shame.
Has anyone used the TB Downpipe? Is it manufactured by them?
Thanks again

Downpipe options?
What options are available for aftermarket downpipes? Don't want something cheap that'll crack in no time.

I'm hoping to repair a rusty boot corner in the near future, so I'll post up if and when that happens.

I would recommend going with the uniroyal rainsport 3. Very good tyre and very reasonably priced.

Rev 3 3SGTE oil cooler?
Hi folks, I'm trying to track down and resolve an oil leak on my 3SGTE. It looks like it's coming from a what I believe to be the oil cooler. Firstly is this actually the oil cooler or am I missing something? https://s22.postimg.org/6e83g3kwt/WP_20160914_13_42_18_Pro.jpg https://s22.postimg.org/mqi5...

Re: Big steering issue!
I had something similar, but maybe more extreme. It would properly tank slap on the motorway doing 60/70. Turned out to be a broken captive nut in the rear crossmember which holds the rear front tie rod.
