So it turns it I had a blown brake filament in each of the outer bulbs, hence my confusion.
Thanks for the helpful replies gents.

Re: Quad tail light mod on import?
Apologies if my original post wasn't clear. How can I have quad side and brake lights, and the inner two as fogs? I also realise this subject has been covered many times and has therefor become tiresome to discuss so my apologies again. Paul thanks very much for your thorough answer! Helps massively...

Re: Quad tail light mod on import?
There's nothing in the knowledge base regarding this, I have read the write up in the KY2 section on mr2oc but it's for uk spec lights.

Quad tail light mod on import?
Hi folks, I've got a Rev3 turbo which i'm about to MOT. It doesn't need anything apart from the rear lights sorted. Currently it has the wires to the brake lights (inner two) cut, and some ghetto fog light wires in their place connected to a switch on the dash. So I only have the high level brake li...

It was so long ago I can't remember where I found the diagram. I spoke to Paul Woods and he gave me a lot of help. I'll see if I can dig out any old messages or posts about it.

Re: Harness without rollcage
I looked into the whole harness/rollcage/helmet/hans system quite a bit, not even because I was considering it, I was just interested to find some real answers. The consensus from manufacturers of the equipment and those with real life experience was that if you want one part of the safety system, y...

Re: Rev3 into Rev1
I did the exact same swap. I would say just repin, you should be able to find out all the repins if you have access to the altered rev 1 passenger loom? You do need to change the coil and ignitor though. You could just swap the speedo sender from the old box into into the new one to keep the cable d...

Re: Is it bad to hit fuel cut / Dodgy indicators?
Bringing this back up, I've been out changing the settings on the Profec B Spec II this afternoon to see what's going on. The settings were as follows: (lo) - Set 55% Gain 0% Start Boost 0 bar Warning 0.95 bar Limiter 0% (hi) Set 75% Gain 0% Start Boost 0 bar Warning 1.15 bar Limiter 0% In this stat...

Re: Is it bad to hit fuel cut / Dodgy indicators?
I know in basic terms what fuel cut is and why its there, I know it's obviously not good but I'd like to know what is actually happening when the ECU cuts fuel. I'm I likely to be doing damage any time I boost to 1.3 bar and hit fuel cut? Thanks for the info Dame, my dad suggested it could be a bad ...

Is it bad to hit fuel cut / Dodgy indicators?
Hey ya'll, Two completely different questions. Firstly, is it bad to hit fuel cut? I'm in a rev 3 turbo with exhaust, intake, SMIC, Apexi Bov and EBC. With the EBC set to 1.1 bar it will creep to 1.35 and hit fuel cut, only started creeping after I upgraded the SMIC. I guess coz it flows too well no...

I've had an similar issue and it was caused by a small leak from the coolant hose above the power steering motor dripping onto one of the connections.

Poly bush problems!
Hi folks, Having a bit of a mare today with the 2. Fought for hours to get the rear arms off so I could replace the bushes, then found I have somehow sold the bushes I need instead the ones I don't. Does anyone know where I could get the rear tie bar front bushes in poly on next day delivery? Car is...

Re: Caster adjustment
What's the deal with the Rev1 tension rods? Is it a straight swap, and is it worth putting them on before getting the suspension setup?
