Really, that was total guessing on my part. I'll try n get them out them. Any bright ideas aside from drilling them?
Thanks for the quick reply

Coil/Ignitor bracket
Evening everyone, Car won't start, hasn't started for 2 days. It had been running a wee bit rough over the last couple weeks, intermittently wouldn't start, now totally dead. Had RAC out twice, first chap suggested plugs due to dampness getting past the leads. I changed them but that didn't help. Se...

It does seem all things point to the ECU for you Sheppy. Let us know how you get on with the next one. I went round to my car this morning and it started and ran fine, but now the rev counter is dead! Takin it to a garage me thinks.

Re: gaaah, first car trouble with the mr2 :( suggestions welcome!
This sounds really similar to what I'm going through. Last night my car wouldn't start, with no prior warnings. Eventually after 5 minutes of cranking it did fire and seemed to idle and rev, freely and normally. Left my street and within 100 metres it started spluttering and cutout, I flattened the ...

He already makes these.
He makes a ducktail bootllid, it's not the same as the MadPSI one though.
My bad. Thought they were the same.
Apologies so he does. Very nice too!

Re: [FINALIZED] Toms Spoiler - RARE
thanks for the reply l1ca, I've seen MR2-Ben is selling Toms style lower rear spoilers. Which would pair nicely with this and remove the issue of filling old screw holes in the boot. but I would still need to fill the holes in the rear quarters and get a fairly large area resprayed, as well as getti...

Re: [FINALIZED] Toms Spoiler - RARE
Thanks for the reply SynXero, that's good to know. So if you have this spoiler fitted, will you have visible holes in the rear quarters where the original wing-ends were? And I would need to buy a Toms lower spoiler as well?
Thanks

Re: [FINALIZED] Toms Spoiler - RARE
How exactly is this fitted? If I replace my Rev 1 spoiler with this surely I'll be left with the visible holes on the middle of the boot? Also from the photos its looks like its mounted on the rear quarter as opposed to the boot, so how does it raise with the boot? Sorry for the awkward questions, b...

Re: Tyre choices
Just got T1-Rs 225/50/15 on the front, paid £200 fitted which is as much as I'd like to pay really. Also looked at the R1-Rs, AD08s but considering the normal weather around here it seemed silly to get summer tyres. Quite happy with the T1-Rs so far, we'll see how they do once the rears are the same...

[Mk2] [NA] PC9-411 or PC9-406?
Hi there, I've recently put my track MR2 back on the road and so am in the process of rebuilding the interior etc. My car is a Rev1 with an active sound system (sub behind passenger seat), I have a white 14 pin HU connector. I've spent a bit of time looking online generally and on this forum, as wel...

There's a really good walk through in the "Know your 2" section of mr2oc.co.uk, I used it when doing my Rev1 to Rev3 conversion.

Urgent!!! COR wiring?
Hi guys, having some trouble with the car. Started her up the other day for the first time since the rev 3 engine, loom and ECU went in(rev1 car). But the car starts up then dies after 2-3 seconds. I know this is normally COR related so I tried to rewire it, but what people were suggesting didn't ma...
