Rear Air Vents
Ideally i think the MR2 side vents would benefit from instead of a rear airflow ear trap, what we need is an air entrance wrap over similar to the AUDI R8 this would be practical and look right.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev 4 / 5 price
Hi Leeroy on the topic of revision differences i was once told that the so called ill handling revisions 1/2 that there was a fix by the rev 3 onwards. There had been a weight distribution change to improve the handling which was that the engine had been located 25mm nearer the cabin baulkhead, soun...

[Mk2] [Turbo] brake servo
I park my 2 on a sloping drive sometimes and have noticed that after applying the foot brake once and rolling down the slope again the braking is minimal. I believe a servo reservior should store enough air for two or three foot pedal pumps with no problem with the engine turned off, this depends on...

[Mk2] [Turbo] bonnet condensation
Does anyone else suffer from front bonnet condensation clinging to the underside in between the strenghtening ribs. This seems to be a pretty well sealed off area with no airflow and ventilation to evaporate so is this normal, or is there a fix of somekind.

[Mk2 Turbo] fuel cap whoes
I to have grappled with a tight whooshing fuel cap that had been shortened to fit the new (SVA preparer fitted) shallower depth fuel nozzle. The cap thread is i suspect a world/eurofit that some safety directive body would have issued guide lines on. I fitted a Ford Focus cap with an attachment stra...

Re: petrol cap stuck - i'm screwed
I to have grappled with the whooshing fuel cap, my jap import cap had been butchered (shortened) to fit the new smaller British nozzle so i fitted a Ford Focus one with the strap attachment (the fuel cap thread is world or euro fit i suspect) i still get the whoosh but the cap unscrews easily now an...

Re: WTF - where this rust come from?
I have noticed when the door is closed the bottom of the door is horizontal when the door is opened the door angles up furthest from the hinge. On a dry day after rainfall when the door is opened the water will drain downhill and will deposit on the floor near the hinge through the drainhole. This o...
