Re: spedoe (rev1tubby)!!!

Ecu light comes on if you are over 3500 revs(if i remember correctly?) for about 8 seconds or so. My speedo did the same thing and it was the pin that goes in to the sensor unit on the gearbox. The actual pin had sheared. Got a whole new unit from 3s for 25quid - not hard to fit.

Re: help my car is having a moment!

cheers guys
i think you may be correct about the altenator as the battery died the next morning and then after charging it the battery light and intercooler light were still there. I'll get a voltmeter and try testing.

Re: help my car is having a moment!

hi mate thanks for the reply
havn't looked at the fuses but i'll take a peak and see if one has blown. Starting to wonder if it is due to having not used my car for a week or so and the battery running down?
hopefully i'll get it sorted before the mot comes.

help my car is having a moment!

Right then - to start with my car's speedo stopped working and after having a few days sitting on the drive i decided to drive around the block to see if it had come alive again. Alas no it hadn't but two minutes around the corner from my house the car showed the overheat/intercooler? symbol and the...

Re: removing fuel rail on car with cc

no i havent contacted peter yet but it looks like i may have to. I currently have plans on pushing the ct26 hybrid to around 1.6 or 1.8bar using the 850's more as a future proofing ready for when i can get a massive turbo later on and take the car off the road.
