Looks quite tidy in the pics, if you do look at it check the floor and sills for holes, also under the spare wheel is another place to check, if you think its going to be to much work then walk away.

Iv still got the tail lights, but the dash lights have started working intermitantly, sometimes if i knock the dash or just above the heater controls they come on again :? iv got plenty of spare relays so il try changing some on this circuit :!:

No lights on dials or heater control!

Noticed today that the instrument cluster and heater controls have blacked out :!: obviously a connection problem, but has anyone had this and is there a common place to check? before i start taking the dash apart

Thanks to everyone for there nice comments about the car, those of you who have seen it in the flesh will appriciate the work thats gone into the car, in a way i hope it stays within the club :thumleft: .

Will be sad to see it go :( but now im after a mint standard Mk1 or SC :)

Great event and supurb venue, nice to put some faces to names on the forum, good friendly bunch. Had lots of interest in my car (Eurosport Kit), thanks for that, makes all the work worthwhile :D Thanks to everyone who organised this event :clap: and hope to see it back here again next year :thumleft:

I thought Billing had a superb atmosphere, went to most of the clubs meets there.

Knocking Steering Rack!

For a few months now iv noticed a knocking noise from the front of the car over rough surfaces, i thought it might be worn droplinks but the noise seems to be coming from the middle of the rack which makes me think it could be the steering rack bush. I checked the droplinks and they seem ok! Any gui...

I have a Mk1b and have a problem with a bouncing idle when warm, i have one of Paul's manual choke convertions which is working fine.
