When I fitted mine the other week I wondered that...tried both angles..but did find they came down a bit tighter with them facing the car.

I'd like to know how there designed to go though...

What does the black plastic container on the left side of the engine bay under the rear window do? as I need to remove it to get to the back of the engine bay...is this easy to remove?

[Mk2] [Generic] Anyone had rear window let water in?

Has anyone had water leak from the rear window...I suspect water getting past the seal on the outside and getting into the cavity just below the window inside the car...it then runs out of a seam at the end on both sides....see my other thread on here...

The water is definitely coming from the seam and not the quarter Windows as iv successfully resales them with no water ingress.... it's building up in the cavity behind this seam.pic1...how could water get into this cavity? I think the back of the engine bay under the rear window is the bottom skin ...

My Rev5 has been standing on drive for about a week....started up first time...left it to run for about 10 mins...settled down and ticked over fine...tried to rev it up and just started splattering and died!..started again but wouldn't respond to the throttle and died again...no warning light came u...

Another place iv found water coming in!

Iv recently resealed both quarter light windows as i heard these can leak, after a night of rain about a week ago there was water on the passenger floor again, after checking around the quarter window everything was dry...but did notice some water coming from a seam just down from the rear window cl...

I removed the near side quarter light vent trim whilst resealing the glass but managed to break one of the tabs...anyone know how to remove one without breaking the clips as iv got to do the other side next...

I suspect my alternator is on the way out as I'm getting a whining noise...also noticed the whine changing note(deeper) when the steering is turned whilst stationary..could it be the power steering pump playing up?

I was considering a cover as mine parks outside...but worried about damage to bodywork when windy...I know there meant to be breathable but like you say leave outside and give it a good wax instead......

Just wondered why the drivers side bin has a handled lid and plastic liner where as the passenger side isn't meant to be used as there's no liner..also noticed a Large hole at the front....was this for a speaker? Does the plastic liner behind the drivers side fit in the passenger side?

I've recently bought a T bar rev5 and when cleaning the carpets noticed the passenger side football carpet was soaking wet! I know there prone to leaks but didn't expect this much...I had just presure washed the car! what parts of the t bar rubber should I check first......
