Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What clutch is this ?
Looks like a RPS 450ft/LBS Single Plate Cltuch, same as the one I've got fitted to my car, was told that RPS use standard clutch plates, just uprated covers?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] cheapest gt3071 kit
I bought my GT3076 kit from a Uk trader, who can't be mentioned, purely for the aftersales, didn't want to have the hassle of dealing with a foreign company if anything was wrong. It cost me about £2k for everything. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v352/dai21t/DCP_3122.jpg There is a second hand k...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Limitations of st205 cc
Steve was right, I'm running a GT3076 with an ST205 c/c on my car, and the most we could get out of it was 391bhp, increasing the boost made no difference at all. Mine is a rev1, I have got a rev3 head here ready to go on as Ryan thought the inlet was restricting mine, but will probably change the c...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Quieter exhaust needed.... recommendations?
Any recommendations on quiet exhausts for an MR2 turbo? I've currently got an Apexi GT system on mine, but its really starting to annoy me (and the neighbours!!!), its not the best exhaust to have when you leave for work at 5am, would like something that doesn't make the light fittings in the house ...

I've got a set in the garage.
Uk spec 160mph, you'd have to change the mileage though, its showing 244800 at the moment!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz Access ECU Question ???
Why not just do a rev3 conversion and run a standalone ecu such as power fc, link etc etc? You can run whatever components you want then.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I've got a GT3076 on my rev1, and I use 850cc top feed injectors.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz Access ECU Question ???
No.
Its preset to run the 440's.
You'll have to change the ecu to run different injectors.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
Mine was at high boost, but Ryan mapped it at 1.5 bar as well and showed 384bhp as opposed to 391 at 1.7bar. He just couldn't get any more power out of it, said it seemed as if the inlet was restricting it, I had heard that the 205 charge cooler can be at its limit around 400bhp @ flywheel, I seemed...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Flywheel - Fidanza or ACT Prolite?
How does a worn outer gear cause a rattle? I could understand if the starter was having trouble engaging, but once the engine is running there's nothing in contact with it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Flywheel - Fidanza or ACT Prolite?
What on the flywheel could cause a rattle? I'd have thought it would only be noisy if its about to fall off? http://www.fidanza.com/aluminum-flywheels.aspx It says on the above site that friction plates are renewable. Try emailing them to find a UK distributor. I'd pull it off and have a look first ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Flywheel - Fidanza or ACT Prolite?
You can buy a replacement steel plate for the Fidzanza.
How do you know its the flywheel rattling, surely thats more likely to be clutch or release bearing?

It's in your link on the ATS site, bottom picture.
It came well packaged and arrived quickly from what I remember but I did get caught for import duties, if you can get one from a UK supplier I'd go for that, at least you guarantee how much you'll pay in total.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [All] [Generic] Tips for setting up open loop boost control
Ryan mapped my car with a link plus G3, I've never had any issues whatsoever with boost control.
Ryan didn't say anything to me about problems with them.
He did my brothers car the same day, he's running a powerfc and Ryan did advise him not to use that to control boost as they're not very good.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
