Re: Bovingdon car show

Assuming I have the car and the weather is alright, I may well come along. How many are definitely in?

Re: Factory BOV, should I go back to it?

Removed an SSQV off our Rev3 last weekend due to suddenly getting a fair bit of chatter on liftoff. Think my bro got stuffed as the secondary valve seems to be plastic and wobbling around. Running stock BOV venting to atmosphere now and it seems to be fine. I know it's not so important on the Rev3, ...

Haha I love when nobody else finds a bargain because of bad advertising. Be interesting to see what the fit is like. Hope it's nothing like Lexus wheels (which have the biggest offset I've ever seen).

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rear fog wiring

Cheers guys, I'll have another look at it tomorrow. There is a little rocker switch situated in between the two stock looking ones so that might be what was used in the past. I'll update again afterwards :thumleft:

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rear fog wiring

It's a 1994 Rev3 turbo (not converted). The switch I can see in the pic above is the same one I have just connected up but there's another one to the left of it with a different pin configuration. I'll grab photos in the morning and see what you guys reckon. As I said, after plugging that connector ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rear fog wiring

Failed an MOT today on missing rear fog light and nothing coming up on the dash. After a little dig around behind the lower dash panel I plugged in an unplugged connector and managed to get a symbol on the dash (which I hope is for the rear fog light) but I have two fog light switches and I'm not su...

I've seen the above in 16" before so there's got to be at least two different sizes.

Re: Hi everyone :)

Would also say it's turbo seals. Ours upon removal had a serious oil leak but after being rebuilt and refitted by reputable sources, the car is all dandy (except for the clutch which is another story entirely :P).

[Mk2] [Turbo] Trouble selecting gears

Hi all, Our Rev3 Tubby developed a shifting issue this evening on a return trip from London. We had our clutch pedal adjusted during the afternoon and drove it down with no problems. On the way home I accelerated away from some traffic lights and found myself struggling slightly to disengage 1st gea...

That's lucky. Our Rev3 was making almost identical noises to that shortly before it suffered a massive internal failure which left it sounding like...
