Re: eBay BOV
We're running a black replica one at the moment. It functions much the same as the first SSQV we picked up which we were sold as a genuine item (it failed internally but we repaired it). Both have been apart with us for inspection and minor repairs. I am told the diaphram is thinner on the replica t...

If you can find them, 16-17" steels and band them. Are you going for the rat look if you're doing black rattle cans or is the paint not in great condition?

Ah nice one, when did you get that? Is it on air ride or something? It's pretty low lol. Add some new rims and that'll look the part.

Right, to save the kerfuffle we had on the last attempt... ...is this one definitely going ahead? This is going a head Will! I gave you my number fella but last month i did say that it had been cancelled but you didn't see it unfortunately before you left :( I like doing these meets but in the new ...

Re: Tyre pressure for an NA on 215 35 18's
Sounds like you're in the same boat we were in when we bought ours. Not overly keen on the wheels and the tyres are definitely not premium. Having bought different wheels now, I can confirm the handling is quite different. I think I actually prefer having the same size tyres all round as it was quit...

Re: Need a tyre fitter who won't wreck rims (Surrey/London/Kent)
Wheels In Motion are quite good, had our geo done last weekend and they seem very experienced. Not had tyres done there but I'm sure they'll be just fine.
Locally I use STS Stapleton's and they take good care of customer's cars.

Re: Blitz nurspec vs mongoose dual exit
I have a Japspeed at the moment and yes the fitment isn't great but I much prefer the sound of it over single exit systems. We have a 5zigen Border 304 Max which was fitted to the car when we bought it but I didn't much like the look of it, nor the sound from inside the cabin (very raspy and droned ...

Re: MR2 ride comfort + tyres
Slightly different scenario but perhaps you guys can offer opinions. We are currently running some 18" rims with 215/35/18 all round. Looking at going down to 17" with 205 or 215 fronts and 235 or 245 rears, possibly with a 45 profile. Providing these tyre sizes fit, ride comfort going to ...

Stunning car. Wish it was mine lol.
I'm with a few others, the headlamps are not to my taste but that sort of thing is easily changed.

The above happened to ours too. Well annoying as it happened at a busy junction in London (Hanger Lane anyone?)

Will try and find the video later.
Lol sounds pretty terrible. I shall eagerly await the video

Re: Rota alloys REV3 Tubby
Question : Would you drive an MR2 on its stock wheels? ;) God yes. The stock wheels (especially rev5 ones) look MUCH nicer than some of the things I've seen on MK2s! You're totally hinting at mine there! ;) But yes, I have seen some god awful wheels on MK2s. Anything that looks like it should be on...

Re: Japspeed exhaust aaarrghh !!!!
We fitted a Japspeed recently. While it's quite acceptable at cruising, it gets very boomy on deceleration. I've seen people on here really rate an exhaust called a Legalis R. Possibly worth looking out for one?

Could be the aerial. This is a fair shout. Annoying interior rattle
Hi chaps, Got a really annoying rattle inside the cabin on our Rev3 tubby. It seems to be coming from around the rear quarter window area (offside) towards the back end but I can't find anything that seems to be loose behind there. It sounds almost as if you took a kids plastic spade and tapped it r...
