What colour is the smoke? do the cylinders smell of fuel when you take the spark plugs out? If it is water/coolant i would say headgasket issue. If this is a rev1/2 then it'll have the paper/fibre head gasket. rev3+ it'll be metal If it is the stem seals i would imagine it would be oil in the cylind...

it isn't a fun process and the chances of smashing the glass are high, then you've got not only to tidy up all the smashed glass but find a replacement.

I'd probably leave well alone.

Yes toyota didn't want it removed, but if you're gonna paint you'll want to get it out without damage.

If i remember rightly they are bonded to the car, You can to take the plastic trim off the inside and then somehow get a piece of string around to seperate them. When i tried it on my breaker years ago i smashed the glass in the process =;

I personally would swap the oil out and then go for a decent drive. 15 minutes isn't enough to burn off excess moisture..

Rang them. They said because of the age and they have to order parts from Japan and can take around 5-6 weeks. So i'm thinking of getting a replacement front stock suspension and sending the Tein to them and see how they get on unless I see a set of used ones or anyone has some for sale..? Dependin...

I've not had anything with midland turbo's

I did have a CT20B rebuilt with a steel impeller many years ago by Turbo Technics. They weren't too bad
