Re: Precautions when your car is with a garage/bodyshop?

Generally ask on here. There are some top blokes on here who know thier stuff everyone knows who i'm talking about.

If you have to travel a little way to get to them so be it. You have to pay more but you get the quality

Re: [Mk2 NA] poor mpg

When owning a car such as the mr2 you have to accept the fact your going to get low MPG. Its a performance car. There are ways to increase MPG. Such as getting the vehicles ECU tweaked for less performace (engine running less rich). Regular servicing etc can help greatly. i have owned a 1.5 honda ci...

Re: Nob in a Golf

That made me smile to.. I love people in TDI's thinking they are driving real turbos. i know there are some serious TDIs around but most are laggey and are only turbos to make up for the fact that diesel is a crappy fuel for a decent perfomance car. Hence you don't see many super cars that are diese...

Re: Imports

When purchasing a Import i would only purchase one from a larger company. Pay that little extra premium for the better car.

Plus always getting it ready to drive its alot of hassle getting it registered etc.

My 2cnts

Hope you get a nice car

Hmmm i'm not a big fan. I personally think that there are very few spoilers that suit the mr2. But then thats just personal taste..

Re: Getting to 200bhp with a N/A

At the end of the day. the best way would be bigger displacement.

Cams
ports

etc this is the way to go. But will cost you a mint :?.

I think what everyone is saying is right.

Are you gunna want to stop at 200 bhp ?

Re: Getting to 200bhp with a N/A

It is possible. You would need to do some real work C/F Blitz Ind Kit Decat Pipe S/S Custom free flow exhaust These items will only add small amounts of bhp the decat will add only 8-10. Induction kit will add around 5 bhp. For real power lighter cams. port polishing.... depends what you want even N...

Re: WHat coolant?

There are very few alcahol based coolants around now. Toyota for life is a very good coolant and generally if you ever come to sell your car to anyone who knows anything about mr2's and you say that it has allways used toyota forlife that you flushed and replaced regularly. Its a bonus for them so t...

You know those we don't speak of whos only purpose in life is to relive us of our hard earn beautiful cars because they cannot be bothered to work to buy them themselves.

Re: Simple Question!

The answer is yes but will sacrifice the handling although there are alot of people on here who will argue. The mr2 looks fit on 18's so i guess it depends what you want.
