[All] [Generic] TRD Bush kit.....Best place to get...?

I'm after a full set of TRD bushes for my Mk1B...

Just wondered where the best place to get a set is...someone in the UK would be 8) .......

I'm not interested in the poly bushes: rubber gives a slightly softer ride, and I dont want my fillings falling out...! :D

Re: SC spark plugs

The ones that were on my car when I bought it were NGK "R" BKR5 EYA: the car ran fine on these until the plug "well" filled up with water..(pardon the pun!), but I dont know how long the plugs had been in the engine up to that point. The new ones are NGK BKR7 EVX: These are plati...

Except it'd be a downgrade as no intercooling.

Water injection is a poor substitute really.

Re: SC wiring harness

I'd forget the 20v, and go for the SC..! :D

With a big pulley, the torque goes through the roof....and you get the power from 2000rpm.....

To get the rated power from the 20v, you have to drive everywhere at 5k+... :D

As mentioned previously....take a spin in one: you know it makes sense..!

Re: Fensport supercharger engines.

I have an AE101 SC engine in my car: I did get it as a 80% finished project though... However, as part of my "uprating" programme, I am planning to re-do all the wiring, mainly to check it is all 100%, but also to fit a Megasquirt to the loom, and finally to log the wiring for the conversi...

Re: FSE BOOST VALVES ?

Based on what it does, it is a total waste of money on an N/A..... On the GZE, on the other hand, extra fuel at the upper rev range can help prevent detonation. However, the optimal set-up with an FSE is if you have an aftermarket ECU, oversize injectors and wideband O2 sensor setup. (on a GZ...

Re: Fibreglass Front Wings

I'll go with Lauren and Tom, as well.... I replaced both my front wings this year, and after considering the GRP/CF options, came to the same conclusion: the steel ones are surprisingly light and I cannot see even carbon fibre ones being too much lighter whilst maintaining some sort of strength........

Re: [All] [Generic] Which ECU would you choose from the list below and why?

IMHO, the Megasquirt2 overall beats the lot....! You buy the unit, loom etc, for around £300, and if you have a wiring diagram for your engine, you can fit it yourself over a weekend quite easily. Then you can tune it with a laptop yourself over the next X weeks.... free! Theres loads of info...
