Re: Lip Spoiler Yes or No
With triangles I ment the black triangles in front of the rearwheelarches, not the wheels ;) did the UK get sideskirts and a colorcodes frontlip in 86? As far as I know that was only in the USA , here in europe the sideskirts weren't available until the 87+ model. But maybe the UK was an exception y...

On a red car I'd say keep ik black, unles you also have the original colorcoded sideskirts, then go for a red frontspoilerlip.
(USA 86-style).![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: Sunroof Storage
All original strutbars are from MK1b's they never came with an MK1a from the factory. They are a straight swap over for into the MK1a though. I wonder how the original sunroof is placed in the from of the MK1a? Because I read lots of the sunroof-strutbar not fitting due to the RHD instead of LHD, bu...

If a tyre is 3 years old and has enough tread on it there's no reason to replace it in my opinion
(assuming there's nothing else wrong with the tyre).![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: Need a new front valance....options??
Do keep in mind that the valances of the mk1a and mk1b aren't interchangeble unless you swap the hole thing
(alances, grill
& frontspoiler).![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
They are differently shaped around the grill and also the grill is different.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: Best place for a new clutch.
If you aint spending every weekend with your MR2 on the track and therefore don't upgrade to a sports/race clutch, get a new one fitted at the Toyotadealer would be my advice. Toyota might be a bit more expensive, but it sure is worth it. Believe me when I say that the difference in price between a ...

Yet an other lowering topic, now it is picture time!!
After all those topics about Koni's lowering springs etc etc I'd like to see some pictures of your AW11's that have been lowered. I get the idea that almost every AW11 in the UK is lowered or about to be, so let's see some picture of those then ;) Unfortunately I can't start myself, seeing I'm to la...

Wheels are nice, not a fan of the 17" size though.
But lower the car, after lowering some 17" wheels look good on the AW11 I think.

Re: Koni suspension kit - any good?
Koni indeed doesn't make springs for the AW11, so despite the picture, that set will come with other brand springs ;) Usually Apex or Rock in the UK. I've got the Apex springs on - they're approx 30mm lower and are uprated over standard. I've got the Apex with my Koni's to (bought them separately),...
