Re: Premium membership

Just got an e-mail from paypal saying my premium membership was renewed?

Why? I've not been a premium member for a few years, I've got a transaction id of 4TS86553V1234825P

Maybe if you could sort this out instead of deleting posts you don't like on your FB page it would be nice

Re: Reinstating Air Con

You might also need a compressor as I had no luck with refurbs, I replaced my condensor, the expansion valve and I think the dryer? My aircon would work when re-gassed but it would slowly get worse. I ordered a new Denso compressor and my aircon has been working for a year now. Although I had a righ...

Re: Toyota only Track day Donington 16 November 22

I went off big time last time I was there, kinda a bit reluctant to go back as every time I go theres always a full grid of racecars being arseholes. But maybe a toyota only day might be a bit of a different atmosphere.

Re: Compatibility of Rev3 and Rev1 A/C connectors

Bit late but this is probably because rev1 and 2 mostly would be R12 systems and the rev3's are all r134a

Re: Fitting A/C to a UK Rev5 NA

Apparently a lot of the pipework for A/C is NLA, so unless you can fab it yourself you might be SOL. Or you know an A/C engineer who can do it for you. Edit: I'm pretty sure the compressor part numbers are the same NA and turbo, as there were only 2 different units. The r134a one and the older R12 s...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Eibach Springs ... with standard struts?

A bit old but I think you'll just shorten the life of the oem struts as shortening the throw of the dampers does odd things to them. The yellow billies are designed to work with lowering springs. The uk spec struts are pretty softly damped compared to the black and yellow billies. Do your current st...

Re: Where to find undertrays ... Mr T?

I've had a chat with someone who bought those repro ones, apparently they don't fit that well and needed a bit of cutting to get installed.

God knows how much it would cost to ship them here too

Re: Mr2 Turbo mk2 Tbar black with lots of bits

The Power FC and the rear lights are worth a grand at least going by current prices.

Is it an actual Rev3 car? If it's just got seized brakes it's probably worth more than 3 grand

If I had the space I'd be up the road handing you the money already at that price

Re: Tale of two MR2's...Wilhelm Raceworks geometry kit finally fitted

When I've spoken with Alex he says the joints should be fine for use on the road but I've had rose jointed stuff fail on me pretty fast.

Where did you get the rubber boots from?

Also did you do the adjustment for the kit yourself?

Re: The seat changer

If you want a recliner you can't go wrong with recaro SR or recaro speeds which are the simmilar to the SR's but the euro version. I was able to get bolt in rails for em from jdmdistro but that was a while ago. They may still do em though. If you want a fixed back seat Recaro Pole positions are grea...

I do have a fully refurbed set of these sitting around, including new discs. They'd just need a set of lines as the ones that came off were destroyed.

I switched to the Willhelm raceworks kit as they have a full front and rear setup

I mean they go for more pretty much everywhere across europe. Most UK mr2 owners are notorious cheapskates.

Re: Jacking locations other than the sills

I remember someone telling me about the front centre jack point. I don't think i can get my low profile jack that far under the car with it lowered. I bought a load of hockey pucks and I shove them on the jack and jackstands now. Seems to work well to protect the sills from resting directly on the j...
