Re: Tyres
Thanks for the reply Pete, mostly ran 17's on my previous mk2's and went for goodyear formula 1's, however on the early mk3 their is not a lot of choice with the standard wheel setup, after a lot of searching and deliberation I have ordered a set of Falkan ZE 914's which are being fitted tomorrow. Pa...

The car is a 2001 silver SMT and although I read all the scare stories with regard to the pre-cat oval bore, and box problems, with only 69000 miles and a full service hi...

wouldn't touch it with a barge pole
if thats the best advert the seller can come up with,to sell his car
he doesn't deserve to sell it.
sums it up when he says, "what you see is what you get"
i would be more afraid of what you don't see.

Re: wheel nut lenghts
hi, is there any reason why i have longer nuts on the back than the front wheels on my rev 3 na import? do i need to do this or can i just ae all the same size? you have a staggered wheel setup. which means the wheels on the back are wider than the front. this means the inside face of the wheels on...

Re: weird crystal stuff in coolant system
I've only had it a few months but it was laid up over winter - I have another post about the overheating issue I have that I'm in the process of resolving. Is there anything I should add to to the coolant system before, or while, I flush it with good clean h20? i would reccomend using, a coolant sy...

Re: weird crystal stuff in coolant system
how long have you had the car ?
you mention you are replacing the radiator.
looks like the previous owner has put some sort of rad seal
in the system.
a good coolant system flush should get rid of the $hite. hth. paul.

I'd give Paul a ring. He has a nice set of Blitz Wheels for sale. Tyres are probably gonna set you back about £300. A nice set of Toyo TR1s in 205/45/16 for the front and 225/45/16 for the rear. thanks dazzz :thumleft: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h165/galleyslave/Blitztype1alloys6.jpg

as a private trader we pay more for the privilage, then if we go over a certain number of cars then we pay per car in a certain time. not sure what you mean by private trader Jason. and if someone is listing parts, rather than cars for breaking. how does anyone know how many cars a person is breakin...
