Re: [Mk2] [NA] Recommend me some wheels please
hi,
i doubt you will get new wheels and tyres for £500.
best thing is to either put a post in the wanted section.
or just keep your eyes on the sale section.
bit over the top i know, but i recently paid £600
for secondhand 16in wheels,without tyres.
but £500 should get you a decent set. hth, paul.

have to agree mate
but as the op asked about which intake ?
this would have to be the sharp intake of breath,as he got the bill for
the conversion, works out a bit more expensive than a k+n. .paul.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] I want my 2 to sound more hairychested! which intake ?
K&N it is! one small thing, this flexi pipe that comes in the kit, to direct air at the cone (as I presume) what does that attach to ?? if you look at the second photo, you will see the black flexi. this is fed into the vent area, secured with a long plastic tie. positioned to direct air on to t...

i have used the k+n on a previous mr2.
have also tried an apexi.
am currently using a recently purchased k+n on my rev5.
have to admit i prefer the k+n,both noisewise and value for money.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ebay strut braces
afterall not all mr2's were even fitted with a rear strutbrace from the factory. Never knew this, thought they all had them as standard. You learn something new every day :) I assume they all had the front brace as standard? yes mate, they all had the front one. as far as i am aware, only the tubbys ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ebay strut braces
Ok...in my opinion...they're just not worth the same amount of money as a second hand pair of ...Cusco or similar name brands that have had more input than just been knocked up from a list of measurements. Wearing a pair of no-mark £5 trainers from the market is an improvement over walking around b...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ebay strut braces
Thats right mate...cusco ae the nuts...those e-bay ones arn't worth a bag of nuts...superlightweight alluminium is another way of spelling $hit. from your comments, i can only assume that you have personal experience of the ebay strutbraces. i brought some appx 3 years ago for a previous mr2. this ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] steering issues
Has anybody got any ideas? best way in the situation you are in, my opinion. would be to go for a staggered tyre setup' don't think the lexus wheels would take a 235/40 tyre for the rear if it would 215/40 on the front would be o.k idealy you also need spacers fitting to the rear. 205/40 front 225/...
