Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
Not updated in quite a while. Not changes but a yellow MK1 Eunos Roadster J-Limited to go with the yellow MR2 Turbo. https://i.imgur.com/nnOgW1T.jpg The yellow MX5 is a work in progress that has been stored for ages. So far I have fitted the wheels and hardtop, carried out a full service, etc. Also ...

Re: I'm coming back (again!)
Welcome back Michael. I remember you from your old Mx5 days too IIRC. I've still MX5s including a FM2 turbo but also a rev3 and rev4 JDM Turbo plus a rev3 V6 so they have got to me too. Look forward to see what you get. My little black MX5 turbo was immense. I owned it twice, wanted to buy it a thi...

Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
Got my rev4 yellow turbo MOT'd today. Next year I will get a few bits done to keep it tidy but for now good it passed the MOT. https://i.imgur.com/PvHVzDu.jpg https://i.imgur.com/woZBH1j.jpg I also fitted some reproduction factory look alike MR2 side windows sunshades. Work well on the V6 as this ca...

Good luck with the V6. As you know my SMG has a 1MZ V6 and it does make for a lovely sound track.

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Sorry Phil reference the black finish I don't have the BMW anymore.
From work I've now a merc with a similar black finish. I use a bit of car wax on it that keeps it clean and doesn't smudge easily.
Hope your still enjoying your Mr2 too.

Looks better. Used to have a 3 series with that silver finish but latter type have that black finish and always thought it looked better.

Hi Phil. Hope your keeping well? Yeah bought the V6 I nearly bought in July 2017 but in early 2018. It's been seeing the most TLC recently.

Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
Resprayed some of my interior trim. When I got the car it was silver that I wasn't too keen on. Nice day today so stripped out and sprayed black. Better looking I think.

Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
When I looked to buy this car I knew it needed a re-spray as it was 50 shades of grey. Having seen Jordan's SMG in the metal which is re-sprayed (JLW on here) I know what good looked like which made the need to sort more so. Today final touches were done as fitted the rev5 spoiler (I do like them wi...

Not posted much recently as been busy with work and got some jobs done on the cars in between but time seems to by flying by. Few updates - white rev3 turbo had the power steering rack fitted, new MOT, sorted a few other bits like radio, speakers working correctly. https://i.imgur.com/U2SWJkZ.jpg ht...

They work well on a MR2. I am happy with them. Still yet to sort the slight wheel vibration (through steering wheel) when braking from 50+mph. Other jobs have come up so far.

Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
Got the V6 out of the garage and fitted some Recaro SR type seats originally from a Evo IV but mounted using Corbeau runners so sit you low. The grey bolsters work well as the car is SMG. Fit with also as I've factory Recaro SR seats in my other 2 MR2 Turbos so a seat I like! https://i.imgur.com/9FC...

MK2 Leather Seats - Good Condition - £100 collected West Sussex.
Pair of leather seats from my rev3 MR2. Overall good condition. Little wear on bolster (being honest but very minor as per photo). Asking £100 collected from near Gatwick Airport, West Sussex. https://i.imgur.com/HgQeLXz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/3DKbOHj.jpg https://i.imgur.com/c7Pt2Z9.jpg https://i.i...

Re: The Ramblings and Diary of a Japanese Car Enthusiast
Few jobs done today. The yellow Mr2 had an oil change and new filter as not been done since I got it. The white mr2 had a refurbished power steering rack fitted as had failed. Since I got the car it had whined but I'd ignored it but was leaking from the same side where the wheel and shock had got da...
