Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] SARD Fuel pressure reg. Shall I? Shan't I?

If you change the fuel pressure after having had the car mapped, the map will be off. Good point. So maybe when i do finally get round to getting the map sorted (think its running a bit rich) i may change out the fuel pressure reg. If there is no benefit though maybe i will leave it. Yeah thats the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] egt probe help!!

I had one on my Charade GTxx and I agree that putting the sensor before the Turbo is the most accurate method.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aftermarket cams and a ct20b

Sorry if this sounds obvious but the only way you can know this is to use maths, or try it out in reality. To calculate if the CT20b flows enough for a 3SGTE with cams you'd need: the compressor map for the turbo, as this gives you the amount of air the turbo is capable of delivering and its efficie...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Dyno Prints of Different turbo's under 450bhp

That particular Rev3 turbo made 313bhp. Mods were i think Apexi intake, Arc intercooler, Downpipe, Nurspec and avcr setup by me to 1.2bar. I added this as well as i felt this car was a very well setup Mr2 with just the basic mods to create a great power figure. The AFR curve was perfect also until ...

Is the engine down on compression? That could explain the power loss.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] GT3071 Wastegate 'hole' questions..

Just re-read your post, are you talking about having a seperate pipe for the 19mm hole to vent through, and on this pipe having the 38mm external wastegate to allow gas to exit the turbo? If thats so then if the 19mm with an internal wastgate would creep, then the setup you're talking about would cr...
