[All] [Generic] bedding in new brakes?
I've got all new disks and pads on my rev3 turbo now, and as advised and expected, braking isn't great as they aren't bedded in yet. Is the anything I should be doing to ensure bedding-in happens correctly, i.e. don't brake heavily yet, or do brake hard etc? Also how long should it take before they ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic]Wiper with spoiler or without better for mk2-add OE wiper pic now
Hi Guys, I bought a set of "aero" wiper blades for my 2 back in December, so I've been running with them for about 4 months now. I got them here: (same price as that other site) http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php?cat=706 They seem to work OK, but still lift at speed (the same as the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Poly Bush's
I got mine on the group buy on IMOC. Think it was Peter Giddens sorting it out. This is what we got: http://www.twosrus.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=25_33&products_id=172 I had the kit fitted recently along with new shocks all round (plus a worn ball joint) so I couldn't say how much difference ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How do you stop my car tram lining?
sorry, but the best way to stop it tramlining is first, to check you are running the correct tyre pressures
(29 front 33 rear) or if that still fails then fit the oem size wheels, i.e.
195/55/15 front, 225/50/15 rear for rev2 on should work well even on a rev1.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Seat belt differences in JDM and euro models?
There does seem to be a difference between the UK and Jap seat belts.
The Jap ones don't retract strongly until you open the door
(there's a lever mounted by the door light switch).![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Flighty at high speed
my rev3 was very light and twitchy at speeds, but I've just replaced all 4 shocks, put poly bushes on (and replaced a worn ball joint) and it feels much much better. Maybe check the tracking is spot on and look for any worn components? We didn't know the ball joint was gone on mine until we pulled i...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] rear toe lock nuts
Thanks Jonb, I've located them on the car now (god I'm crap at this! :D ) and the toe adjustment seems to be behind the rear wheel. I've given all the nuts a good spray thism morning, before leaving and when getting to work. I'll try and keep this up for a few days, then try and loosen them. If I ne...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] rear toe lock nuts
Thanks Jonb, any chance you could identify which bit they are talking about on the EPC? I'm guessing it's on this slide somewhere: http://www.ayrpark.plus.com/epc/toyota/details.asp/fgn=4804&tregion=j&cid=215&mid=2&fulldate=12_01_19.html I'm definitely not a mechanic, but I was hopin...

Re: [All] [Generic] Wipers not staying on windscreen
an old trick for this one is to carefully bend the wiper arm so the preload on the spring pushes it harder into the windscreen.
Be careful you don't break it though!

Hi guys, apparently mine have seized, so I can't get my tracking done. Can anyone show me which bit this is (either photo or on the online EPC)? [Mk2] [Turbo] Suspension Geometry

For video input how about a rear facing camera?
For audio, have you got a high capacity MP3 player?

She chatters constantly at low speeds, but makes more of a screaming noise under hard acceleration or cornering.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

yes, check out the knowledgebase section.
There is a full photo article on replacing all weatherstrips on a MK2 by a clever bloke with a spanking rev3 turbo.
(ok, so I'm lying, it was by me!)

I already put in a knowledgebase article, complete with a photo how-to.
I don't think the supplier I used is available any more, but maybe this one should be added to my how-to?

OK, decision made I think. I'm going to go for a full set of yellows. Does anyone know if these come with the rubber covers at the top, as 2 of mine have split. I've been having a google, and I've found a full set pretty cheap in the US. Does anyone know how much import tax is? http://cgi.ebay.com/e...
