White mk2 lives in the village, bloody lovely that one. I don't think he's a member but he does pop his lights when I see him.

We're in Gosport too I work all over Gosport and Lee. Used to go to lots of shows when I had my mk1 but don't really bother with the mk2.
Will keep my eye out once the weather clears up.....its horrid at the moment.

Red mk1. Lee on the solent
Got a big grin from a happy chappy driving a red aw11, looked in fairly nice nick too. Crossed paths on the sea front road, I usually get ignored by mk1s and mk3s

They're nasty if they don't fit properly though Alex Fibreglass wing: http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee335/Limeymk1/1MZFE%20V6/Trackdays/287235585_FB.jpg Fit is fine IMO. Oh I miss my Ol' Tantrum  I fitted that wing, IMO (as an Crash repair tech) the wing was fine to work with. Very strong...

Re: Finally it's mine! Help needed with service advice and more!!!
Yes, I have an uneasy feeling that Alex's (Pk090) engine troubles started when he flushed the cooling system and installed new antifreeze Sketch :thumleft: Etheleyne glycol is a very searching substance Sorry, I was referring to flushing an engine while doing an oil change not coolant. I have alway...

Although your intentions are good, I personally would never flush an old engine. You may end up opening up tiny leaks here and there that are currently bunged up with age old "gunge".

Re: what rev is my MR2?
You can do an engine swap but it's all down to how much money you want to spend, maybe better off cash wise to search out a nice turbo car while having a bit of fun with this one. Mines a rev 2 non turbo, , as someone's already said, it's still a fun car to drive. Do a bit of research into costs of ...

We are wondering if you bought the car either thinking or having been told it had a turbo when it is a uk non turbo.

Sam @ Sky insurance
Huge thumbs up for Sam @ Sky. I was getting redonkulous quotes from my current insurers and pretty much everyone else to the point I was considering taking the car off the road ( even had one company wanting to bump up my excess to £700 ). Sam beat everyone by more than £250, all mods declare...
